The location at the water is great! We loved the fresh wind at the restaurant. Canadian manager is a great lady who likes to help out. Pretty good food at the restaurant aswell. We also loved the fact that al the earnings go to their own school to educate children.
Cheap room with everything you need for a stay
The access to the river
The hotel is not bad, but it needs a lot of maintenance because it feels a little dirty, in our room cockroaches came out the two days we were there and also those of reception who are at night want to charge you a commission if you want to pay by card when that does not say in the reservation and the morning they told us that nothing is not charged, also the water to drink in the hotel ran out and they told us to go to the restaurant to order and they also wanted to charge us for filling our boat when it is a service that the hotel provides, the staff needs to be more friendly in general to those of the restaurant and those of the hotel
Wonderful staff, reasonable cost room, nice restaurant on the water, very good wifi, clean.
It can be a bit loud but you are under the bridge for the main road so have that expectation in advance and you will be fine. It is on the other side of the bridge from where the main town is which is ok but you need to walk over the brave or take a taxi to explore most of the town.

The water didn’t work on my floor and they seemed very unbothered about it when I informed them, the sheets had stains, the shower stream was almost non existent, the window was broken in a very noisy place (chicken and bridge with trucks) and full of mosquitos that could just come in. The fan was so loud it it wasn’t for my earplugs I wouldn’t have been able to sleep.

- The room were cozy with a good fan to deal with the heat
- There is a restaurant on place (the coconut shrimps are amazing !) that also provides good breakfasts
- Most of the revenue seems to go to the Casa Guatemala which is an organization that helps children
- The water of the shower/faucet is a bit brown sometimes
- Some items are missing on the menu (no pina colada:( )
Cool spot on the river where you can swim, the room was comfortable with a good fan, it was quite quiet at night, and the cats were super friendly:)
It was not the cleanest place (lots of stains on the towels and bed sheets), and while the restaurant is super cool on the side of the river, most of the item we asked on the menu were not available (maybe it was because we were there during the raining season and there was less tourist?).
It is a spot in the middle of nature
There are some noise issues. Some are uncontrollable like retarding brakes on trucks others are controllable which are roosters that crow in the morning.
