Pros:

Clear instructions to access property.

Well furnished & excellent value for money.

Cons:

TV was not set up, so I was unable to watch many channels on TV.

Multiple stains on carpet, and a number of trivial cleaning issues I.e. dead insects in light fittings, radiator very dusty.

Great house. Not great location if you are on holiday!
Pros:

Historical background and the canal basin / Clyde view

Cons:

Small rooms - access to the property and getting stuck in Glasgow traffic everytime we went out. No local amenities.

Best place to stay in this area. Just brilliant!
Pros:

Best place on the Clyde - I had returned as
I was impressed the last time. The owner / manager was very quick to respond to a lapsed booking alert by booking.com who hadn’t notified him of my booking. Facilities are excellent.

Cons:

Nothing - I liked everything.

Lovely, beautiful decor, comfortable bed and nice location
Pros:

Location and secure location, good for families, couples and pet dog

Cons:

We didn’t get a chance to thank the staff as it was self access and keys with security box for our room

Comfortable accommodation in a very picturesque setting.
Pros:

Great character. The situation is spectacular, overlooking the Bowling canal basin and the river Clyde. Entry arrangements were more like self-catering than a hotel. There's materials for a DIY continental breakfast in the hotel kitchen/dining room. That suited us very well. A more substantial breakfast would be available at a nearby cafe, though it doesn't seem to open until 10am.

Cons:

The hotel was quite difficult to find in the dark! Access is by a narrow lane and a gate that is controlled by a keypad overnight. The hotel provides access advice by message, however.

Lovely spot and nicely presented.
Pros:

Good standard of accommodation in terms of cleanliness, warmth, fixtures and fittings. Beautiful location, safe and secure.

Cons:

2 singles pushed together for a double bed. Not that easy to find in the dark and a bit of a faff with codes for gate, door and then room. I think the vendor should be very clear it is self catering as no facilities in Bowling, although it does state no meals are available on site.

A gem of a place!
Pros:

Amazing location for exploring the Clyde. Such a friendly pub next door too. Also a wonderful cafe in the arches for breakfast. Hotel is beautifully renovated.

Cons:

Nothing could have been better but, good to know, this is a set up where you’re independent (no reception, cooked breakfast etc). Everything worked perfectly for us though!

if you like quiet, you will love this.
Pros:

Very isolated. Glad we arrived in daylight otherwise might have been intimidated by isolation.
Fabulous location, so unique, delightful.
Would stay again, just truly lovely.

Pros:

Very quiet location. Self check in. A lovely room. Good bed. Good wi-fi. I watched a sea otter from my room. A good walk on the path and beach for my dog.

Pros:

Красивые виды вокруг
Номера тоже симпатичные

Cons:

Было бы неплохо, если бы чуть получше убирались. Грязь на подносе для стаканов, вытяжка не тянет, тк забилась пылью и грязью и стол был весь в следах от выпивки какой то.
В душе плесень проросла уже
Но в целом переночевать - норм
