Wonderful family run hotel, with gourmet food, amazing scenery in an excellent location
Pros:

We had a lovely stay at the Alpenrose, the von Siebenthal family and the staff are wonderful and welcoming. Our room had a lovely view and provided a very pleasant, spacious seating area and the common areas were also very welcoming. The beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed for a very pleasant week stay at the hotel. We had half board, the breakfast was very good and the evening meals were very gourmet. We were treated to a very creative and delicious tasting menu nearly every night in the Azalee restaurant and enjoyed excellent meals in Sammy's Grill as well. The servers in both restaurants provided excellent service and a wonderful experience.

Cons:

As much as we enjoyed the gourmet menus as part of our half-board experience, I think in the future I would order ala carte on some evenings. They always asked us if we were happy with the menu, but perhaps if we were informed in the morning what the dinner selection would be we may have decided to opt out a night or two, but overall all the food was excellent.

On est déçu de l’hôtel pour le prix payé, trop cher pour ce que c’est
Pros:

Bon petit déjeuner, literie confortable, calme, personnel agréable et serviable

Cons:

Propreté de la chambre (cheveux et poils dans le lit et à la salle de bain, poussière tables de nuit, lampes, télécommandes), moisissures dans la salle de bain et mobilier vieillot
SPA: non inclu dans le prix de la chambre, on nous vend un jacuzzi pour au final une baignoire à bulles, fauteuil massant oui mais contre 5.-, sauna vieillot, bref pas un spa comme on peut l’imaginer.
Local à ski un peu limite pour un hôtel d’un tel standing. On nous a recommandé de garder les souliers en chambre…
Remarques faites à la propriétaire qui nous a fait grâce des 50.- du SPA.

Albergo molto carino, posizione ottima, personale accogliente
Pros:

La colazione ottima e variata. La sala è molto bella con una vista sulle montagne. Tutti ingredienti freschi. Servizio molto accogliente e professionale.

Cons:

Il letto un po' scomodo.

Pros:

L'accueil et l'ambiance familiale. La propreté, la qualité des repas au restaurant, le spa même s'il est payant.

Cons:

La distance pour rejoindre les remontées mécaniques n'est pas de 800 m., mais de 2 km, ce qui fait beaucoup avec les chaussures de ski et le matériel à porter.
Heureusement, les propriétaires assurent le transport aller et retour sur demande.
Merci encore pour leur amabilité.

Perfektes verlängertes Wochenende
Pros:

Das Personal war so unglaublich nett und liebevoll. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, sowieso das Abendessen im Gourmet Restaurant. Wir haben für 90 Minuten den privaten Wellnessbereich genutzt und der war top! Wir wurden zum Skilift gefahren und wieder abgeholt. Wir können das Hotel mit Restaurant nur empfehlen.

Auch optimal mit grossen Kindern, genügend Platz, alles vorhanden, feines Frühstück - alles frisch zubereitet.

Cons:

Bei der Reservation wurde ein Balkon erwähnt, diesen haben wir nicht vorgefunden. Spielte aber keine Rolle, wir kamen erst bei Dunkelheit an.
