The reception lady was amazing - friendly, helpful, welcoming, informative, accommodating. Thank you so much!!
The guest house is close to the main pier and all other places in the village (the village is very small so all guest houses are close to everything). The price was very good. The room was clean, seemed renovated (the room itself, not the furniture). There is a tiny balcony from which to look at the river (not fully open view). There is a gate that is locked and the room has a key as well. Easy walk to the beach.

Cons:

You can hear neighbours in the other room very well. Also you can hear almost everything outside - people, birds, boats, the local church Mass (every word being screamed in the microphone), the music from the bar, the water pump switching on every 5 minutes non stop, even at night. No shower gel, only a couple bars of hotel soap. No hair dryer. There is air conditioner but it blows a strong air flow right on you in the bed so you can't have it on while sleeping (maybe somebody can and it is fine for them, it just was not fine for me :) ). Without A/C the room gets too hot. So basically you have to choose between sweating and being frozen. There is no window in the room.
The outside gate is a bit tricky to lock and unlock, you have to learn it.

Schoon, comfortabel verblijf met aardige en hulpvaardige mensen!

Communicatie vooraf over de boot vanuit La Pavona alles gaat al 5 dagen vooraf per app, over de eigen tours die ook allemaal goed zijn, de kamers ruim genoeg én kent een volledig keukentje, ligt rustig, zeer schoon. Zonder ontbijt is een voordeel: je kunt ook na je ochtendkano ergens in het dorpje eten.

De bootreservering is fijn, als je daar aan komt verdringen zich direct 5 mensen bij jouw auto maar die laten je direct met rust als je al een reservering hebt. De tours geven je een vaste planning.
Let op schildpaddenseizoen als dat jouw doel is,

Meer een tip.
Het hotel kan ook nog via een creditcard betaald worden, de tours in cash. Eten soms cash soms creditcard. Hier is geen ATM dus plan dat vooraf.

Buena relación precio/calidad para lo que ofrece el pueblo

Aire acondicionado , balcón y cama cómoda

Cons:

El ruido continuo de la bomba de agua , el sistema de agua que actúa a medida que la bomba funciona y cuando la bomba prende sale agua fría y luego caliente y así . No fue cómodo bañarse así.
Es un poco molesto el ruido de la chapa al llover y también a las 5am el que se encarga de los botes hace un ruido que te despierta

Alojamiento con excelente relación calidad-precio, muy limpia y bien ubicada.
Pros:

Habitación con una relación calidad-precio excepcional. Limpieza impecable, todo estaba impoluto, y las instalaciones en muy buen estado. Ubicación céntrica en Tortuguero, con balcón y vistas parciales al río. El personal de recepción fue muy amable y las noches a pesar de estar en el centro, fueron tranquilas y sin ruido.

Cons:

La ducha fue lo que menos nos convenció, aunque es un detalle menor considerando la excelente relación calidad-precio. También sería ideal que la cama fuera un poco más grande, pero son aspectos poco relevantes.

Tuanis is the best for your stay in Tortuguero
Pros:

Het Tuanis Guest House viel onder Tuanis Tours, dit was heel makkelijk om onder andere shuttle services en ook uitstappen binnen Tortuguero te krijgen. Ze haalden ons op met de auto in San José, super vriendelijke chauffeur Jorge die ook met ons stopte voor een ontbijtje, waarna we met de boot werden gebracht naar Tortuguero. Vriendelijk ontvangen door Luís en hij regelde ook een shuttle naar Guapíles om onze auto op te halen. Veel bijgeleerd van gids Daniel tijdens de kanotocht en dagwandeling om wildlife te spotten. Echte aanrader!

Pros:

The room was clean and cosy, and we loved the balcony with the beautiful view.
The staff was really nice and they offer some activities like canoë tour or day walk in the Forest. I highly recommend to do this! The guide was amazing and we saw a lot of animals

Récente et fonctionnelle
Pros:

Très bon accueil lors de notre arrivée à Tortuguero. Notre chambre était très agréable et disposait de tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Petit coin cuisine, idéal pour le café du matin.
Il faisait propre. Etagère très pratique pour y déposer ses affaires.
Lieu sécurisé par une grille.
Le personnel est disponible pour nous aider avec la réservation de bateau, excursion ou autre.

Cons:

La pompe à eau située à l'extérieure qui fait beaucoup de bruit.

Genial calidad precio
Pros:

El personal es muy amable. La habitación es básica pero tiene todo lo necesario para pasar en Tortuguero una o dos noches.

Cons:

Cuando fuimos había como una fiesta al lado y hubo ruido y música toda la noche, por lo que no pudimos dormir mucho.
