The location and staff

The 1st room the toilet was clogged and broke. The 2nd room the ac did not wotlrk. The whole place smelled like weed but we were threatened to be kicked out and fine for 1 cigarette on the porch. Some of the staff were great others were extremely rude!

My husband and I each ordered a shot of Peach Crown at the hotel bar, which was around $10 per shot. What concerned us was that the bartender poured both shots below the bar, completely out of our view. After tasting the first one, we both thought it didn't taste like Peach Crown. To give them the benefit of the doubt, we ordered a second round and intentionally left my shot glass on the bar, expecting the pour to happen where we could see it. Instead, the bartender again poured the shots below the bar.

About an hour later, both of us developed pretty significant stomach issues. Those two shots were the only alcohol we had consumed that day, which made the experience even more concerning. While I can't say for certain what was served, the combination of the hidden pours, the unusual taste, and both of us getting sick afterward left us questioning whether we were actually served what we ordered.

At those prices, I expect drinks to be poured in plain view. The lack of transparency made the experience feel misleading, and because of that, I would not recommend the hotel bar.

The musty smell throughout the entire building. The worst housekeeping I have ever experienced. I had to ask for wash cloths 2 days in a row because they only left towels and no washcloths. They also forgot to leave an extra roll of toilet paper. Luckily I was next to the supply closet so I was able to grab a roll myself. Also they never once swept the room during the 4 days we were there. Again I had to go to the supply closet myself and get a broom. Oh and no pool towels at the pool. There was a sign that read please leave pool towels in the bin but there were none. AC rattled all night and the bed was hard as a rock. This place was way over priced!

There is only one elevator in the hotel building. The wait was long at certain times of the day and congested where it’s located. Also, there was no cable in the room so not much to watch on TV. Parking is definitely an issue. There are 2 garages for both buildings. They fill up quickly. If full, you have to park a block away at the overflow lot. That was inconvenient.

The room was a little dirty.

The room smelt like mildew. The room we stayed in needs to be upgraded. There were bandaids on the bathroom door handle. The floors were sticky. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. We had a suite and expected more appliances and utensils. Mold in the tile. We could smell Marijuana in our bathroom. Having to pay for parking after paying a ridiculous amount for a musty room.

I also wasn't pleased that non guest were allowed to use the pool at the bar. The pool is small enough and anyone can use the ammentities that were paid for by the guests. Noone was saying anything to those people who were bringing in coolers and outside food.when there was clearly a sign. By letting non guests come in caused for the paying guests not to find seats to use the pool that we paid for to use. While I understand they need to bring in revenue for their new restaurant and bar, the non guests should not be able to use the pool. They should have to sit in the bar area or inside.

price did not represent quality

Only problem was getting enough towels for 5 people. If you take 5 dirty towels and wash clothes, you should replace the same amount. Had to tra k down maid or even when to front desk just to ask forbthem.
