Die Fotos vermitteln einen anderen Eindruck als die Realität – insgesamt entspricht der Komfort eher einer Jugendherberge als einem Vier-Sterne-Hotel. Die Räumlichkeiten sind abgenutzt.
Das als „hervorragend“ beworbene Frühstück ist in Wahrheit ein sehr einfaches Basisangebot. Der Kaffee war übrigens gut.
Mein Zimmer war dunkel und feucht, beschädigte Fliesen, Wasserflecken und zugespachtelte Risse im Badezimmer. Das Fenster ging auf die etwa 1–1,5 Meter entfernte Wand.
Tageslicht drang praktisch keines ins Zimmer.
Einen Zimmerwechsel habe ich sofort erbeten; die angebotenen Alternativen waren jedoch noch weniger ansprechend. Selbst die gezeigte «Suite“ war lediglich ein größeres Zimmer mit vier nebeneinander gestellten Betten.
Die Lage in der Stadt ist gut.
Wer lediglich eine Übernachtungsmöglichkeit in guter Lage sucht, für den mag dieses Hotel ausreichend sein. Wer jedoch einen angenehmen Aufenthalt mit Komfort und Atmosphäre erwartet, das man üblicherweise mit vier Sternen verbindet, sollte sich gut überlegen.

Pros:

The location is simply perfect - close to the main atractions from the historical city center, and short distance from the main train station. The bonus goes to the exclusive terrace with an espectacular view of the region: a privilleged view of the main references from Florence (Duomo, Piazza della Signoria - see pictures from the view) - and the very pleasant service from staff - I had a very special moment during my birthday there - the perfect hospitality! I would definetely come back if I have the chance.

Szuper helyen van. Az Uffizi 3 perc, Ponte Vecchio szintén. A város központjában, de mégis nyugodt, csendes, ráadásul fantasztikus múlttal bíró szálloda. A reggeli finom. A személyzet segítőkész, előzékeny.A toronyból a kilátás pedig elképesztő! Ha legközelebb jövünk Firenzébe csak is itt szállunk meg. Mindenkinek ajánlom!

Egy dolgot tudok csak megemlíteni. Kevés a szobában a konnektor. De ez semmit nem von le az értékelésből.
