Overall it was a disappointment and did not live up to the price being charged.
Pros:

The location was excellent with a lovely view out over the tea plantations. The room was large with a balcony overlooking the hills and the bed was comfortable. Mr Abraham who I assume was the owner was very friendly and helpful with excellent communication with us.

Cons:

The hotel looked wonderful on the website, but in reality it seemed in need of a refresh. It looked a bit tired and was not as clean as I expected with dirty curtains and a slightly shabby feel to it. The pool did not look as inviting as it appeared in the photos. Compared with other hotels I stayed in on the same trip it was significantly overpriced. Had it been a lot cheaper I would have forgiven it some of the criticisms I have highlighted.

Exceptional in every way!
Pros:

I don't usually write reviews, but felt it was only right to feedback on the wonderful experience we had here. Everything was perfect - stunning situation, beautiful room that was clean and well equipped. Jobby and his team could not have been more attentive and warm - its was a joy from start to finish. Special mention to the Jobby for the day trip recommendation, the delicious food and waking up early on check out to help us on our way. Thank you!

A special host in a special part of the world.
Pros:

If you come to stay at this home stay you will be treated to the most warm and personal hospitality from the owner Mr Jobby. The views from the rooms are incredible overlooking the family tea plantation. Take some time in the morning to listen the cacophony of bird song from your balcony. The food served here is top notch. One of the many highlights of our stay was meeting Mr Jobby’s friends one who runs a small spice shop (much more authentic than the numerous large spice shop enterprises in the area) and another, a school friend, whose family grow cardamoms and process them for other local growers. I urge you to spend a couple of nights here, you will not be disappointed.
