Good
Pros:

Everything was fantastic about the property, and the staff were extremely lovely. You can’t beat the location and the breakfast was good. The beds were comfortable.

Cons:

I was in room 101 and the shower door would not stay closed and even though I tried to hold it closed while showering so much water would get onto the bathroom floor. I stayed there for several days so it was quite annoying to have a mini flood to clean up every day.

We will not chose it again if we can book something else.
Pros:

Apart of the level of the room, the rest was decent Ibis quality, so basicaly ok.

Cons:

The window was looking to an inner yard, from where quite loud noise was coming. Despite good isolated windows one could clearly hear it during the night. We know that prices during the Spielwarenmesse are high, but 1100 eur for this room for 3 night is way overpriced.

Worst hotel ever

I have stayed in dozens of hotels around the world and this has to be by far the worst experience i have ever had. I have received just 2 hrs before the check in time an email saying they overbooked the hotel and i have lost my room. They offered an alternative room in a near by hotel and everything was arranged for me. After a very long day of work and walking in the snow with my travel suitcase i arrived at the alternative hotel. When i asked to check in they did not have a room booked for me and they were also fully booked. I waited at the lobby for some time were the receptionist made several phone calls to see what to do. As time was passing by i got angry and left walking to the ibis hotel of my initial booking to ask in person why two mistakes happened with my booking. After arguing with the two receptionist they offered to pay a taxi to take me to a hotel outside the city center. I explained to them that my friends are staying in the same hotel and we are in the heart of the city center and who was gonna pay for all the taxis trips during my stay? They said they only have to pay for the taxi now to take you to the hotel ! Eventually i offered them an easy way out just to cancel my booking and i would stay with one of my friends in the hotel. They accepted it but they wanted me to pay extra because his resevration was for 1 person and not 2 !!!!

Werde das Hotel sicher nicht mehr Buchen - leider
Cons:

Leider war der Empfang nicht sehr schön. Die Buchung war falsch im System eingetragen. Scheinbar wären sie ausgebucht obwohl es auf Booking noch Zimmer frei hatte. Also neues Hotel suchen und das Geld war leider weg.Unschöne und teure Erfahrung.

Pros:

The location is unbeatable, 3 minutes from train station and right in the center, already in the pedestrian area.
Room is the reliable Ibis standard, good bed and pillow, good isolation.

Cons:

The building is quite old, elevator super slow. Should put a kettle in the room, or at least have a hot/cold refill in the lobby for morning coffee.
