Lovely surroundings great staff excellent breakfast leisure facilities great
Nothing
Friendly staff, good location. Very clean.
Bed was shockingly uncomfortable springs digging into back.
Door slamming all night.
Beautiful building & friendly staff
Clean nice good staff
Lovely comfortable room. Friendly staff. Just a short drive from Broughty Ferry beach and Arbroath Cliffs (stunning).
It would have been great if the pool had some lounge beds to relax on. It would have been nice if the bar had lemon slices to add to out drinks (at one point they weren't even going add ice to a gin and tonic). And the reviews of the restaurant were so poor that we went out to eat instead.
Ideal for visit required to area for work and happy to recommend. Hotel clean and good breakfast, have stayed before and will again
There was no lift , we collected all our baggage upstairs, no lobby man who help.
The pool and gym wasn’t free,we paid £7/5 PP each days.
How welcoming the staff, rooms kept tidy and clean.

Lovely staff great food clean hotel great location great parking
Disapointed you have to pay extra for using the pool. The bed was really uncomfortable
The room was amazing clean and spacious, finishing touches were the swans on the bed
Well it is not that we didn't like it, but the evening meal was okay, as a professional cook, the food was very bland, the sirloin steak, I would have expected a flamed grilled, it was more off a steak cooked in the red wine, steak casserole which was steak pie, certainly could have tasted with seasoning.
This mornings breakfast was okay for a buffet style, however when my wife went to get breakfast she had to wait as the table of 10 kept going back up for more, so, I had already finished my breakfast as she still had not had her, poached egg was delivered and was then cold.
Would visit again but meals need to improve
The staff are so lovely and had a really lovely one night stay room was lovely. The pool looked good
The food was terrible and we got money taken off. The menu needs to be looked into. I didn’t finish my meal as it was really poor. The bacon didn’t look cooked. I think it was microwaved the chips were raw. The food was just terrible. If we knew the menu was not the same online we would have gone out somewhere else. The bar was full so couldn’t sit at the bar either.
Breakfast was adequate. The cooked to order provision was much nicer.
Some inconsistencies with staff demeanour. The initial welcome and help offered by receptionist was excellent. Some waiting staff were v friendly others not.
Great food, wonderful service and friendly, helpful staff! My girls had the best time playing in the pool, which is basic but perfect for what we wanted! All very clean, rooms clean and comfortable. Great night away!
