Nice dinner at restaurant, close proximity to airport
I asked for a morning call at 3.15am but there was no call. I thought the staff might have heard it as 3.50am but still no call by then when I left the hotel room to head to the airport.
Choosing this hotel was the must for me due to the very early flight next morning. And now I must say - it was the best choice. Just a short walk from the airport with everything you need to feel good. Comfortable room, good bed and hot shower is all you need. My special thanks to the girl who was at the reception in the morning of 14th February. First, she was able to check me in earlier than the usual check-in time. The she explained me in detail where to find the closest post office and how to get there. But she also suggested me a couple of places to see in the Bergen city. Following her advice I took Floibanen funicular to the top of Floyen and had a beautiful walk there. Wanted to thank her and ask the name but when I came back from the city in the evening she had finished her shift. I decided to dine in hotel's restaurant and had Fish of day. It couldn't be more fresh and was so delicious. Breakfast at 4 o'clock in the morning is great. Although you don't eat much at this early hour but to have a cup of coffee or tea with yogurt or cookie or slice of bread is a good start of the day when you are traveling. Now I know where to stay when coming back to Bergen in the future.
When you really want to find something you didn't like - you always can. My aim wasn't that. But yes, I would have liked to stay one of two days longer as I like Bergen and surroundings. Unfortunately, had to leave.
