Pros:

ゴールデンウィークのハイシーズンにも関わらず、お得に宿泊出来たのが一番のメリットです。温泉も時間帯によって女湯と男湯がチェンジするので１日の間でどちらも楽しむことができました。浴衣や草履も貸し出ししていただけるので旅館の気分が味わえてうれしかったです。

Cons:

建物自体が築年数が経っているため、新しい設備を求める方には向かないです。バスタオルやフェイスタオルを温泉施設内やフロントで交換していただけるサービスがなかったのはちょっと残念でした。

The property had a nice view, beds were comfy and it was quite peaceful out that way.

Cons:

You are quite far out of the main are of Nikkō and public transport is hard. It’s an outdated area with a lot of abandoned buildings. The hotel is older and sometimes the smell of the onsen was extremely strong by the rooms.

部屋の広さはまぁ良くベッドも寝やすかった

Cons:

温泉に入らず、部屋のバスタブにお湯を溜めて入った後、栓を抜くとトイレまで水浸しだった。せっかく入浴したのに、床の水をしぼったり拭いたり手間がかかった。洗面台の水回りも良くない。
安いコテージを利用したので、フロントから部屋までの道のりが複雑過ぎるのも難。

コテージ静かでとっても素敵でした！

掃除をされている方から配膳の方、歩いてすれ違う方、全てのスタッフさんが笑顔でちゃんとアイコンタクトを取って挨拶して下さり気持ちのいい接客で最高でした！！！

今回は初めて利用させていただき、コテージに宿泊させていただきました。手のひらサイズの小さいドライヤーが威力あり感動しました。笑
お値段の割にゆったり少し広めでとても静か。鬼怒川が窓から見えてとても癒されました。築年数のある建物ですが、年数にしては本当にキレイ保たれてます。

フロント奥にある大浴場へ向かうまでのお座敷に、色とりどりの傘が飾られて、その日の日付が書かれた小さいボードが前に置かれているフォトスポットがありました！！スタッフさんのおもてなしが感じられます。
フロント階にあるソファーのお部屋は無料ドリンクの機械もあり、鬼怒川を眺めながゆっくりできます。いろいろなドラマのロケで使用されたようで、お部屋一周たくさんの有名俳優さんのサインが飾られてました

今度お伺いするときは本館にも泊まってみたいです。
仕事帰りに都内から車で伺ったので夜遅くチェックインでしたが、今度はゆっくりホテルステイを楽しみに伺いたいと思います。本当にありがとうございました！

風情のある素敵なホテルなので、本館カラコテージへ向かうのも石畳で良かったですが、キャリーケースだと階段もあり少し頑張らないと…という感じです。
大浴場は本館の方にあるので、先ほどの外の屋根つき石畳の階段を歩いて館内へ向かうので、寒い時期は温泉あとに履ける靴下や羽織ものが必要です。

そういう階段や外を少し歩く情報を事前にいただけると嬉しかったです。(とっても素敵だったので全く後悔しておりませんが^^)

1つ注文を付けるなら、女性用露天風呂がＳ時の様な形になっていて、大きな岩で奥側が見えないようになっています。そこに足元が見えるように明かりが欲しいです。照明が上にありすぎて、人が居るかのも真っ暗で分からず、ソロリと歩きながら入りましたが足の指で岩を蹴ってしまい悶絶しました、、笑
