The most wonderful place!
Pros:

This was the most beautiful and amazing place to stay. The cabin is in the middle of the most stunning area and the views are perfect. It is a family business and the staff are so friendly and will do anything to help you have the best stay. The food is delicious. I would strongly suggest staying here and visiting Udawalawe reserve with them because it was such a wonderful experience. Will be telling all my friends to stay here!

Perfect place in the middle of nature!
Pros:

My wife and our three older teenagers between 20 and 22 years old, we loved this place, in the middle of nature, in the middle of rice fields, where Shashi and his uncle prepared a barbecue and a campfire, and the next day, we swam in the river.

Cons:

If you are looking for the comfort of a Hilton or Marriott, this cottage will not suit you.

Typically Sri Lankan, unspoilt.
Pros:

The setting in the jungle by the beautiful river was perfect for our family and the accommodation was very well appointed with everything we need for our stay. We also love the proximity to the game farm as well. We will definitely return.

Cons:

We weren’t there for long enough.

Pros:

Delicious variety of options served at the hotel breakfast. Fresh fruits and made-to-order omelets were highlights.The staff at this hotel are exceptional! Friendly.

A Wonderful Diversion from the status quo
Pros:

This is a wonderful location in natural surroundings overlooking a river. Colorful birds are in abundance throughout the day including kingfishers, orioles, and of course hornbill. Enjoying an evening drink on the lower balcony or reading a book while listening to the river water pass, provides the serenity one looks for when booking a location like this.

Cons:

The location was exactly as described. The one issue that might be of note for some travelers is the normal cellular access issues that are across Sri Lanka. Having a WiFi option would add add cost to the nightly charge, but for some travelers, not having a cellular connection is the purpose of booking this location.
