Es war halt Berlin Mitte! Erschütternd für einen ehemaligen Berliner was mit der Friedrich Straße passiert ist

Cons:

Mein Zimmer, für fast 300 € pro Nacht wurde nicht aufgeräumt Völlig lapidar bei meiner Frage warum nicht. Wurde wohl vergessen. Grüner Besen war eingeschaltet

Not what I expected from a 5 star hotel
Pros:

Great location, close to the Brandenburg Gate and Freidrichstrasse Station, beautiful and really large room and surroundings and excellent breakfast.

Cons:

Was not able to watch my country play their world cup match in the room - although there is well hidden TV, it didn't received terrestrial channels and the casting from my phone just didn't work - very disappointing. The aircon was very loud on the first night, but was better on the second, although the room was hot and the aircon wasn't very effective. Luckily it was pretty cool in Berlin for July. The phone in the room didn't work either, and housekeeping came in at just after 8 am on the first morning!

Great place to stay. Excellent rooms and breakfast and staff.
Pros:

Location was very good. Could walk to a lot of things. Train station nearby. Close to the river. Lots of bakeries. And a really good take away place to get a Donner Kabob near the train station.
Breakfasts was made to order. Coffee was guten.
Hotel staff were friendly and English speaking - very nice especially since I speak very little German. Bar was nice - had really good and cool bartenders who made excellent Irish Coffees every nite for us!

All vas guten.

Für junge Leute ein schönes, nostalgisches Haus.
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend, wenn man in Mitte/Ost Termine hat.

Cons:

Die Einrichtung des Hotels ist sehr liebevoll, aber leider nicht altengerecht.
