It was an ok stay because of location but I feel we could have done better at another property at the same price level.
Pros:

Great location, on tram line, very helpful & supportive staff

Cons:

Rooms feel dated and just not the same standard or functionality quality as other Daiwa Roynet properties, limited outlets to manage multiple phones and laptops so extension cord was needed, toilet leg space was cramped if you aren’t a small person, breakfast was limited to three set meal choices

Prima verblijf op een goede locatie
Pros:

De locatie is perfect. Makkelijk te bereiken vanaf het station met de tram. De belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand.

Cons:

Het tweepersoonsbed is te krap voor 2 volwassenen. Ik schat de afmeting op 120-140 cm.
Het westerse ontbijt is een gebakken ei met kool salade plus twee worstjes en één mini croissantje. Daarnaast een glas limonade en koffie.

Great location
Pros:

Close to Peace Park and boat for Miyajima. Hotel is modern and very smart. Room has everything you need.

Cons:

Breakfast wasn't the best for us ...a set tray (either Western or Japanese style)

Location near Tram stop & Peace Museum
Pros:

Location near Tram stop, and walking distance to PeaceMuseum

Cons:

Room was small ( we kenw that when booking) but the layout made it seem tighter. Double bed pushed against the wall so the person nx to it have to climb over the other person. off to poor start that somehow the info we had was the hotel location near the station. We arrived early and they took our details, When we went back at chcek in time, they asked for same info all over again and had to q to check than check in at the machine. room came w breakfast ( western or Japanese or mixed) - very basic & not so tasty. Also got off to wrong start when we arrived at the ?wrong " Daiwa near the station

Pros:

The staff was polite and nice, and that was the only positive unfortunately

Dirty, smelly, terrible breakfast and located by a main street with lot of noise

Pros:

Camera stupenda, ampia e ben servita. Letto più grande dei soliti standard. Personale gentile e disponibile. Posizione ottima. Comoda la lavanderia. Eccezionali i lockers per lasciare i bagagli oltre l'orario di checkout (gratuitamente).

Wouldn’t recommend based on the mediocre cleaning carried out between previous guests and our stay.
Pros:

Location. Close to street car stop and peace park. Better location than the other DIAWA which was closer to the train station.

Cons:

Started off by going to the wrong DAIWA hotel. Clearly this is not uncommon as the initial hotel had directions to this hotel to provide to us. Not their fault. Potentially could be rectified by re-branding. We walked - we only had light bags. 40 minutes easy walk.
Room was a bit tired with carpet well on its way to being threadbare. Previous guest was kind enough to leave underwear in the steamer for us - should have been picked up in cleaning.

Good stay
Pros:

Good location, right next to the street car station and within walking distance to the peace memorial park. Staff were nice, room was decent size for Japan. They had a nice Halloween spirit welcome.

Cons:

The room was a little outdated and beds were a little uncomfy. We got water bottles, but didn't see a place we can refill them later.
