Overall good location and nice stuff
Some noise from the streetcar reaches the room. It didn't bother us too much when the window was closed, but we were at floor 12.

Het ontbijt valt tegen. Alles op een bord gepresenteerd en koffie op voorhand gezet.
Close to the Memorial Park and plenty of shops. Very welcoming and helpful staff, with tea bags/coffee/toiletries and many more things available at reception. The room was modern and clean, and more spacious than the other rooms in Japan we've stayed in. The bed was large and comfortable, and we got a great night's sleep.
The main light was very bright. But that's just being picky 😂

Location was amazing and we did get a room on a higher floor, allowing for some decent city views. Room was also massive in comparison to the other hotels we had stayed at.
Carpets are pretty gross and stained, as are the walls. The fitout overall is quite dated and could probably use a renovation.
The bath/shower creaked and groaned whenever you stepped into it and while you showered.
The laundry room is on the floor with the smoking rooms, so you have to walk through the smell of cigarettes to go and do your laundry. Sometimes you would jump into the lift and it would reek of cigarettes.
This is an old hotel and it shows, while on a surface level its fine and the location is brilliant, if you care about the finer details in terms of cleanliness I would give this one a miss.
