Pros:

Fabulous location just opposite the railway station, excellent isolation,no noise through the windows. Big size of the room. Staff is friendly and polite. Breakfast with good selection of dishes.

Very near to the Kyoto station entrance - it is right in front of the shinkansen exit. I sent my big luggage to the hotel without any issues - they also have storage with a lock that I used for my smaller luggage prior to check in and after check out (same day). The room is big enough to open two suitcases at the same time. Free amenities can be picked from the lobby (face cleanser and lotion, shaving razor, etc).

There is a big aeon mall just around the corner and the station also has lots of food options - I definitely recommend staying at Keihan! Just be careful as there is another Keihan hotel nearby as well.

Cons:

There are only 3 laundry machines and 3 dryers for the hotel (card payment) so there is quite a queue. The hotel does have a system where you need to pick the laundry as soon as you are done to avoid clogging, but 3 is definitely not enough. We are lucky that we got it for the first time, but may need some luck. I do recommend doing it late at night or early morning if possible.

Overall pleasant stay.
Pros:

Great location. Super convenient! Across the road is Kyoto Station. And nearby there are food restaurants, 7-11, Aeon mall, Avanti mall (with GU, Uniqlo, Don Quijote).

Cons:

Please wash the bathtub thoroughly. My son soak in the bathtub, but when I fill the tub with water, the water is very cloudy, dirty. I tried to wash but it doesn’t seem to work. Until Day 3 night when we back to shower and my son bathed, the bathtub smelled of chlorine and the water is clear. Triple room size is small. You have to open luggage on your beds. The pillows are too soft and only given one for each bed.
