Nice apartment, great location.
Pros:

The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed. It was very clean. The pool was lovely and the gardens were superbly kept.

Cons:

As much as the management were nice people and do a very good job on the property, we found them to be extremely highly strung and a little intrusive unfortunately. This impression and experience was also shared by the other guests we spoke with. People are there on holiday, not to socialise with the owners. It was also very unprofessional that at 9.20am the owner appeared at the door and told my elderly mother that we really should be out by now and to hurry up (checkout was 10am) as they had a lot of rooms to clean for a new lot of guests arriving. As it turns out we were about to leave anyway. My 87yo mother did not appreciate being harassed like this and got quite upset. If we were told this prior, we would have left earlier.

Loved our stay
Pros:

Fantastic location so near the beach, spotlessly clean and well set up, and the owners were so friendly. Would like to go again!

Cons:

Would be absolutely perfect if the master bedroom had a king bed. This is a personal preference but 2 pillows per person would be excellent too

Petit havre de paix à quelques pas de la mer
Pros:

Tout! L’accueil, la propreté, les équipements, le calme, la proximité de la mer et du centre, la piscine chauffée. Tout était là pour un séjour parfait. Machine à laver et lave-vaisselle très pratiques, tout ce qu’il faut dans la cuisine pour préparer ses repas. Idéal pour un séjour en famille. Notre bébé de 18 mois a également adoré son séjour. Les hôtes sont très gentils et font tout pour qu’on se sente comme à la maison. Nous y reviendrons pour sûr!

Rien, tout était parfait pour des vacances inoubliables.

Ideally located for those wishing to enjoy a real beach holiday
Pros:

The Sands is located in a quiet cul de sac which means no passing traffic noise. It is a comfortable, flat, ten minute walk to Merimbula main shopping street. There are a couple of take-away/coffee shops only a few minutes walk, which are across the road from Main Beach. Ideally located for those wishing to enjoy a real beach holiday. Geoff and Kim were excellent hosts, very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. We have stayed at a few holiday apartments in this vicinity and The Sands has just become our favourite. We will definitely book here again.

Cons:

While it suited our needs, the twin bedroom is really only suitable for two small children. It isn't really large enough for older teenagers or two adults.

Great stay at a comfortable place with excellent hosts.
Pros:

Excellent location. A minutes walk to the waterfront. Lovely walking track with lots of bird life.
Not too far from the main town.

Excellent Family Stay.
Pros:

We can not fault our stay at the Sands Holiday Apartments. Location, Family Friendly, Clean and Comfortable - all boxes massively ticked. The owners Geoff and Kim are the most loveliest hosts, they are so welcoming, kind and friendly. We cannot wait to come back.
