Beautiful gardens good for 1/2 nights.
Pros:

30 mins drive from the airport overlooking San Jose. Beautiful botanical gardens. Good size rooms with 2 beds.
Rooms overlooking the garden are best.
Good place to stay on arrival before moving on.

The perfect way to kick off our stay in Costa Rica!
Pros:

The hotel itself is beautifully appointed: lovely decor and furniture. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with huge balconies overlooking the sprawling, colorful gardens. The garden itself is by far the hotel's biggest highlight with its enormous diversity of plant species and birdlife. We were in Costa Rica on a birding trip and I managed to rack up 50 species of birds here in three days. The buffet breakfasts were fantastic - great variety.

Cons:

I found the coffee somewhat weak and insipid. But this is literally my only gripe, so you know I'm really scraping the bottom of the barrel here. The hotel is otherwise fabulous.

Pros:

De tuin is uiteraard het paradepaardje van het hotel. Wat heerlijk om hier rond te lopen als je uit het vliegtuig stapt. Je waant je al bijna in het oerwoud.
Het hotel zelf beviel ons ook prima.
De locatie is ook prima om verder naar het oosten te reizen, want je bent zo de stad uit.
Als met al een heerlijke start van onze reis.

Wonderful Wedding Night
Pros:

Breakfast was nice! Not a huge buffet but the food was fresh and tasty. Nice coffee as any Costarican place really. Friendly staff even at late night.
