I love the area. Surprisingly, all the surrounding areas are clean, with no trash or homeless people. It’s better than than booking in LA.

Boujee and convenient for downtown access.
Pros:

The location was super convenient. You could tell that they just updated everything. The shower was complicated but when you figured it out, it was super cool and I am actually wanting the same one of my house. The staff was amazing. I didn't open the door for myself at all and the receptionist ladies gladly answered my many phone calls when I couldn't figure something out.

Cons:

The bathroom is a pocket door and you can hear everything even when it's closed. The lights are complicated and took some mashing of buttons to figure out. The bed was much firmer than I personally prefer, but it was still comfortable enough to sleep well in.

Cons:

There was no hot water in our shower. We could have called but they would have wanted to send someone up but we don't like when service workers come into our hotel room and it puts us out having to wait, etc.

Had to wait 30 minutes to be seated for breakfast and then another 30 minutes to get our food. Restaurant seemed understaffed.

This hotel charged my credit card for my reservation and I am struggling to get my money back
Pros:

The location was very good. The hotel coffee shop was very good.

Cons:

I paid for my reservation through Boorking.com. The hotel charged me for the entire stay on my personal credit card without making me aware they had done this. I am still trying to get my money back.
