Almost perfect
Pros:

Hotel is an great location for the historic centre of Quito and was really clean and comfortable.
My only issue was the rooms all overlooked the reception in a courtyard style and the door is always locked. So guests need to ring a buzzer to access the property, then when the door is opened a bell goes off. While this is not a problem in the day, when people come and go at night or early in the morning it does wake you up.
A small issue in a great little hotel.

Nos trataron muy bien. Y su gente es muy amable. 10/10 El lugar está muy céntrico. Te sientes seguro. En todo lo que necesitáramos nos resolvían. Siempre con mucha amabilidad.

It's a hostel, not a hotel.
Pros:

That's a hostel, not a hotel. It should be clear on the booking. I had to argue for half an hour until proving my booking included breakfast.
