Superbe emplacement. Personnel très gentil. Geande chambre.
The room was clean, the staff was great, they are working in bringing more amenities to the property.
The hotel was clean but the toilet did not work and there was no hot water. Also there was ants all over my bed and they kept me up at night. The manager or front desk worker was intrusive. He followed me outside. Maybe that’s common in Nicaragua. The security guard was awesome.

The staff told me when I checked in at night that the Masaya Volcano had re-opened after being closed for a year, but it was only open during the day and you could only see some lava from the crater. Every other hotel I stayed in Nicaragua said it was still closed. The next morning they confirmed at 7am and organised a return taxi and a guide. When we arrived at the Masaya National Park, they said it had been closed for a year and only the museum was open. We returned to the hotel and they still charged $30USD for a 90 minute taxi, which is poor. Given the hotel staff work in tourism and the number one attraction in the country is 30kms from their hotel, you would expect them to know if the volcano has been opened or closed for a year. Quite an inconvenience caused with onward travel that afternoon.
