The location, the bed and the air conditioner
Everything else. The building is old and there is a lack of maintenance. The noise from the street is terrible, and 5am you start listeng to rats or bats on the roof. Do not make this mistake and ruin your vacations. I would only rent this place if there was no other option. After all, we asked our money back, because we didn’t want to be there anymore and they refused give it back. We payed another place anyway and lost the money. This is fine, but also means they doesnt have good customer service policies.

The location is good, a but away from the Bars and Restaurant but you can reach everything by foot.
We read the reviews from over 1 year ago and they were not that good, we just thought that during this long time the place would have been improved but i guess nothing really changed - still some things under construction. The dorm was good but the bathroom was dirty and was not cleaned once during our stay. Also the beds from other people who already checked out were not cleaned up.The staff seemed not to be really interested if we are feeling comfortable. We also couldnt lock our dorm because the door was half broken and also the gate close to our dorm was open all the day so not really a safe feeling to leave your belongings.
This place has the best value for money in the area. It has a great pool, the staff are very friendly and the kitchen has everything you need.
- location is quite central & a 10 minute walk to the bus station
- pool is clean
- bed linen was clean
- other than the girl who checked me in (but also works in the bike rental store attached) I have no idea who (if any) the hostel staff were
- wasn’t clean - 10 dorm bathroom & kitchen were cleaned once during my 4 day / 3 night stay
- toilet paper ran out with no one obvious to ask for more
- two very cute puppies but they pooped on the path, by the kitchen & no one around to pick it up
- people left the dorms & beds weren’t changed until the next day
- lock on the bathroom is broken & gets stuck
- security of items is questionable as the side gate (for parking) is open all day & there is only one key for the dorm room which is left in the lock all the time from the outside so anyone can come inside the property & access the dorm
- no lockers in the dorm so no security of possessions
- water collects in the bottom of the bath so you stand in someone else’s dirty water
Incredibly kind and helpful staff members. Object is well taken care of. Only 4 mins walking distance to the beach. Good location.
Noise at night coming from the outside bars
A/C in the dorms was nice.
They just had a problem with being out of water when I arrived so there were no toilets working for a while which was difficult after traveling all day! Not much they could do about that as it hadn’t rained for weeks and water was scarce. Because of that the staff seemed preoccupied. Wasn’t really greeted when coming or going or made to feel very welcome. Tub was also clogged and didn’t drain.
