Amazing guest house, lovely hosts, quiet, wonderful meals. A place one wants to come back

The hosts were really funny and attentive. They helped use with good tips for our hiking tour. And You cooked amazing food for dinner and lunch.

Everyone visiting China has to stop by Miss Xiu and Jake's Guesthouse. I had the best possible stay near the great wall and I am very grateful to them for making everything convenient and very pleasant. It was beyond my expectations as I rarely experienced this level of warmth and authenticity.

Struttura moderna, con camere luminose e belle e zona comune in cui volendo è possibile parlare e giocare con gli host e con altri ospiti

Jack y Xiu son encantadores, están pendientes en todo momento de ti, te llevan a la muralla, te traen, nos prepararon cenas y desayunos, no tuvimos que preocuparnos de nada y lo mas excepcional, nos llevaron a la muralla y pudimos entrar antes que nadie, lo que hizo que estuviéramos prácticamente solos durante buena parte de la mañana. No podemos estarles más agradecidos, fue una experiencia única

This is a wonderful guest house with a great couple running it. The breakfast was good, the room was nice and comfortable. The best part is that the hosts are very nice and knowledgeable about the area. With their help we were able to have a wonderful experience exploring a non-reconstructed section of the Great Wall.

Xiu et Jack étaient des hôtes formidables !
Leur courtyard boutique hôtel est sympathique et confortable.
Jack était toujours disponible pour nous conduire ou aider à découvrir la Grande Muraille et Gubei Water Town.
Xiu nous a initié dans les applications indispensables pour voyager en Chine.

Wij hebben het heel goed gehad bij Jack en xiu. Fijne kamers, heerlijk eten en xiu en Jack stonden altijd voor je klaar om je ergens heen te brengen. Het was fijn om op zo’n rustige plek onze reis door China te starten. Oh ja, niet te vergeten: de karaoke 🎤

Xiu og Jack var helt perfekte. Vi koste oss så mye med de og de var veldig behjelpelige for oss som ville opp på muren! De fikser mat og kan hjelpe med vasking av klær, samt tilbyr seg henting ved togstasjonen. 10/10 ønsker å dra tilbake

This is a beautiful, clean, and peaceful place to stay. The owners are wonderful and so helpful in planning a visit to the Great Wall. The stay alone is worth the trip, but with the beauty of Jinshanling it is unbeatable! Could not recommend more! The food is also incredible!

Amazing owners, went above and beyond. Rooms were simple yet clean. Comfortable beds and strong, hot showers. Meals prepared by Xiu and Jack delicious and reasonably priced.

The facilities were to an impeccable standard. The hosting couple are an absolute joy to be around. Always going out of their way to help us.

Отличное место. Находясь в гости чувствуешь что ты как будто дома. Очень добрые, дружелюбные и отзывчивые хозяева. Нас встретили и обратно довезли до вокзала. Рассказали подробно про маршруты. Прекрасный и очень вкусный ужин, где можно попробовать много чего разнообразного. Вкусный и полезный завтрак.
Чистый номер, удобная кровать, есть кондиционер.
Однозначно рекомендую.

The hosts, 秀儿 and 王杰（Jack), were incredibly kind and hospitable. Before our trip, 秀儿 and I connected on WeChat, and she was patient and thorough in answering all my questions so I can best prepare for my trip. During the trip, they worked hard everyday to take care of all of us, from transportation to food to travel recommendations. Because Gubeikou is a bit remote (which we love), we relied on Jack to drive us to all the destinations once we got to the BnB. Each transportation is a separate fee from the accommodation, but we felt that the cost was fair. Meals are not included, but we highly recommend trying their home-cooked breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They made some of the best food we had while we were China (and we were there for a whole month!) They made us feel like we had a home away from home. The Great Wall of China was epic, but staying here with 秀儿 and 王杰 made a great trip AMAZING.

Perfect hosts who can help with all kinds of transportation. Extremely cozy place. The dinner is outstanding.
