A wonderful stay in a beautiful place, with an amazing pool, lovely rooms and truly caring staff.
Pros:

Our stay was wonderful. The place is beautiful, and swimming in that pool is simply breathtaking. The room was amazing and the staff was fantastic.
Despite the language barriers you may find everywhere in China, the staff here always make a real effort to understand you and take care of you.

A special thank you to Xiao Hu. The care and attention he gives to every guest is truly precious.

Lovely Mountain Retreat near Zhangjiajie National Park
Pros:

The hotel is beautifully situated in the mountains and has a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Our room was spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always happy to help with anything we needed. There is also an excellent restaurant with a wide selection of dishes, and everything we tried was delicious. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

Отель прекрасен во всех отношениях: замечательная локация, уютный и стильный интерьер номеров, разнообразная кухня, ежедневное пополнение холодильника напитками, ежедневная уборка номера и своевременная замена банных принадлежностей. Отдельно хочется отметить трансфер на очень комфортных и презентабельных автомобилях.

А самое милое — на территории отеля живут кролики, уточки и рыбки, что создаёт особенную, уютную атмосферу. 🐇🦆🐟

Está en un enclave espectacular, la decoración es muy bonita, la comida excelente y la atención del personal absolutamente impecable. Siempre pendientes de hacerte la estancia más confortable y preocupados por tu bienestar. Especial mención a Pan Pan. Estuvo pendiente de todo desde muchos días antes de nuestra llegada. Gracias.

Disappointment
Pros:

The pool and the views are great. Good location and building. But needs maintenance and more professional staff.

Cons:

This is maximum 3 stars quality. The staff was not attentive at all. Rooms are full of humidity, need maintenance painting. Gym has a very small room without windows next to the laundry, this is not acceptable for a five star level. There was no coffee machine at the room. There were no snacks at the minibar of the room. No sparkling water available at the hotel. Breakfast poor. Also we arrived late and there were absolutely no options to eat anything. The staff repeatedly said that dinner finishes 21hs, ok but at least a sandwich or french fries? Nothing. And we were with kids. No room service, no bar. The hotel is in the mountain 20min far away from the town they should have some option for food at night. In other hotel when we arrive late they have prepared us a box with food and snacks. Here nothing. During the day staff was playing badminton, doing nothing and burping. Staff looked like college boys and girls not professional at all. Service at pool was cero. No towels, nobody came to bring a menu or take the order. We visited 7 differed hotel in this travel in China and all were great apart of this one. Maybe they need a western director to set the standards. Or reduce it to three stars.

lokalizacja petarda. naprawdę inaczej niż w większości hoteli gdzie byliśmy. specjalne podziękowania dla Doudou. oby więcej takich ludzi jak ty dla klientów hoteli. BRAWO! Pole ryżowe cisza, natura, spokój, basen z totalnie unikalnym widokiem którego się nie spodziewaliśmy.

Cons:

do poprawy kuchnia nie ma tragedii ale takie miejsce zasługuje na kucharze z gwiazdką Michelin, szczególnie jak się spożywa kolację pod gwiazdami nad basenem.

Outstanding stay, staff that truly go above and beyond
Pros:

We had a fantastic two-night stay at Country Retreats Zhangjiajie Manson Resort. The property is beautiful and spotlessly clean, set among rice paddies with stunning mountain scenery, and the view from the infinity pool is simply amazing, the perfect way to end a day of sightseeing in the national park.

What really sets this place apart is the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive, always going the extra mile to make our stay easy and comfortable. Special thanks to Doudou, who went far beyond anything we could have expected: he personally drove out to meet us and helped us with insurance paperwork, and when we unexpectedly needed to visit a hospital during our stay, he guided us through the whole process. That kind of care and dedication is rare, and we are so grateful.

The location is also ideal for visiting Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, and breakfast was included and very good. We would return without hesitation and recommend this resort to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie. Thank you, Doudou and the whole team!

Our 1 night stay was exceptional, we left there wishing we could of stayed longer. Would definitely recommend this hotel
Pros:

Everything… the staff were very accommodating, especially Pan, who organised our day out exploring the national park with a tour guide. Our accommodation was fantastic, very clean and the views were outstanding. The food, both dinner and our breakfast were delicious.

Cons:

There was nothing not to like.
