Not clean enough, the staff were unpleasant regarding us in their own language! Believing we couldn't understand!

No lift but the hotel staff helped out with the luggage. Breakfast could have been better.

1. Most of the staff does not know english, only one person does
2. The windows are non existent. I came in April, and was still cold outside, the cold would come into to room very easy and after the first night, the second night I slept on the couch, in the living room. Let's talk about noise man... it was like sleeping in the street in the bedroom. The windows had 0 isolation from noise or cold.
3. Everything is old. Can't say it was dirty, it was just old and you get the feeling that is dirty.
4. I had breakfast included, the staff told me that I don't have, so I didn't have. When I told the english speaking staff that they did not give me breakfast, he said "Weird... You were supposed to have it. This means they did not understood you." That's it, not, we will make it up to you by " whatever " Nothing. Just weird, not we're sorry that we have non-english speaking that cost you your breakfast.
5. I asked for a ironing machine. First day to non speaking english, they just nod and ask for your room number and say they will do it... nothing. Asked 2nd day with the english speaking person, they said they will bring it... again nothing.

I payed for 4 nights, I left 2 nights because it was impossibile to sleep there. No refunds. Ridiculous.

Advice:
Close the place, renovate and re-open it. That place should not be allowed to function in this state that it is.

Do not book the airport transfer service. It is unreliable. I had booked the service but opposite to what I was told, nobody was waiting for me at the airport. So I called the service the hotel had booked and that service was unable to find my reservation. After some back and forth they sent someone. Long story short, I lost over 45min waiting late in the night. There were plenty of taxis at the airport even though it was 1am. So just take a regular taxi. The hotel also didn't issue a receipt for the transfer service, even though it was a service booked through them, which complicated expense reimbursement with my company. Even Booking.com customer service tried to help but they also didn't get a reply from the hotel.

On the way back I took the local train to the airport which worked perfectly. The station is just 3min walking from the hotel.

The rooms are OK for the price. But depending on what standards you are normally used to, they are likely less comfortable, less clean and less functional.

The biggest issue was that it was filthy and the whole building stank of cigarette smoke - the room was no exception and even with the doors open the whole time it barely improved.
The dirt was at a level where it was difficult to pick cups of the shelf because they were stuck and when a while pillow was dropped on the floor it came back black. There were clumps of hair stuck to a line of Velcro on the sofa and clouds of dust came up from the rug.
We arrived late and the children were tired so we just needed them to sleep - only one bed (out of 4 in the apartment) had bedding on so I had to make up the remaining beds myself. The front room curtains only covered part of the windows and despite the claim that the room was sound proof it most certainly wasn’t - the traffic noise from outside made it impossible to sleep.
We complained that the room was not up to scratch as soon as we arrived but was told that it was a lovely apartment that was well cleaned and that u should “calm down”. The host quickly resorted to messaging me in block capitals to tell me I was wrong and despite the receptionist telling me we could check out in the morning and get a refund, the host repeatedly and aggressively refused this.
The furniture was mostly broken, as was the toilet and the hairdryer didn’t work at all. There were two old bottles of shower gel as the only available bathroom supplies.
When we asked for breakfast at 9 we were told it wasn’t available until 9:30 - this continued with half hourly updates until we gave up and left for the day at 11.
Despite making it abundantly clear that the state of the apartment was unacceptable and that we expected it to be cleaned, this was not done.
It was not an inexpensive place to stay, I’m pretty relaxed about basic accommodation but the level to dirt was so far from acceptable- please save yourself the pain and do not book here.

Apartment and furniture very dated and in dire need of refurbishment and replacement.

you will need to select the room with your physical status in mind. there is no elevator. however, I was on the 5th floor, and was not a big deal.

The room I was in had a lot of traffic noise as it was right above a big street. Other rooms should be better.
