Pros:

Alle waren so gastfreundlich, gut gelaunt, immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen und hilfsbereit. Wir wurden unglaublich herzlich empfangen. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt und wir wurden die ganze Zeit super versorgt. Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Service sehr gut. Wir konnten sogar früher einchecken, weil das Zimmer bereits gereinigt werden konnte. Absolut zu empfehlen, um gut in Sri Lanka anzukommen. Vielen Dank für diesen schönen Aufenthalt bei euch, wir haben es sehr genossen!

Все супер тишина все утопает в зелени🌴домики чистые огромные чудесные! Белье и постель шикарные! Завтраки и меню в ресторане классно. Экскурсия в мангры- огонь, тук туки приезжают по заказу, массаж великолепный❤️вернемся однозначно спасибо ребята

Pros:

It is a very peaceful place with extremely clean pool. The houses are small, a bit dark, but very comfortable, with hot water and good water pressure in the shower. It is a great option to begin or to finish the whole vacation. We have been there at the beginning, after the long flight, so it was great two days to rest and chill. There is not much around but we knew it before coming and we didn’t leave the place for the whole stay. What made the stay in Cottage unforgettable was the person who run it daily, Mr Asiri! He is the kindest man, with a big smile and kind for kids, bringing other food options for the 3 year old and playing ball for two minutes what made my daughter feel special :)

Cons:

I was not aware it is just by the small river and there are many mosquitoes in the evening- but it was only myself who was stung several times, other people were safe and sound ;) beside the mosquitoes, the river brings beautiful birds flying around and it is great to watch

Geweldige cottages in een prachtige omgeving
Pros:

De Cottage is werkelijk geweldig, van A tot Z overal is over nagedacht. Het personeel is super vriendelijk en wil alles voor een aangenaam verblijf doen. Het eten is hartstikke lekker, de cottages zijn schoon, goed onderhouden, zelfs een kinderbed was voor ons aanwezig (zeldzaam bij de meeste verblijven in Sri Lanka). Het zwembad is ook schoon en goed onderhouden.
De cottage biedt ook boottochten aan op de naastgelegen rivier, zeer aan te raden - veel dieren gespot en ook de mangroves van dichtbij gezien, prachtig!

Cons:

Helaas was er tijdens ons gehele verblijf en voornamelijk tot diep in de nacht en vanaf 5 uur s ochtends luid muziek vanuit de naburige omgeving. We waren enorm verbaasd dat het zo lang duurde, omdat we nergens in andere reviews hier iets over hadden gelezen. Daar kan het personeel uiteraard niets aan doen. Maar net na een lange vlucht, voelde we ons daarna niet uitgerust.
Er zijn veel muggen, maar dat is logisch - de plek ligt direct aan de rivier, met goed smeren is er niets aan de hand.

Great place to relax with a few minor improvements for the future.
Pros:

The Cottage Negombo is easy to reach from the airport. On arrival, we were well supported with our luggage and any questions that arose during the one-night stay. Rooms were spacious and well furnished. Furthermore, the bed was super comfortable which was ideal as we planned an intense travel the following day! Also one can relax in the pool!

Cons:

The breakfast was very basic for the price paid and hence this can be improved a bit more. Also due to the several trees present, there are quite a few mosquitoes around. However, this aspect can be addressed by carrying along mosquito spray.

Pros:

Quelques bungalows très agréables au milieu de nulle part. Très jolie piscine. Bon petit déjeuner. C’est parfait pour y passer une première ou dernière nuit au Sri Lanka, à 30mn de taxi de l’aéroport.

Cons:

On entend passer les avions mais il n’y en a pas tant que ça. Les chiens très proches aboient dès la nuit tombée.

Très beau séjour, n’hésitez pas à passer plusieurs jours.
Pros:

Nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel. De beaux bungalows avec un lit confortable. Très belle piscine avec plusieurs chaises longues. Le personnel souriant est une très grande gentillesse. Un gros merci tout particulier à Asiri tellement avenant tout au long de notre séjour de 5 jours. Nous avons aussi très bien mangé, menus variés.
