Asiri an der Rezeption ist ein Sonnenschein, nimmt sich um alle Anliegen an & hat ein riesiges Herz für Kinder!

Comfortable stay to start and finish our trip
Pros:

Beautiful private cottages in a quiet location about a 10-15min tuktuk from from Negombo town center. The staff was incredibly kind and friendly. We actually started and ended our Sri Lanka holiday here.

Cons:

It’s a bit difficult to get to via narrow roads for tuktuks and taxis. The pool is a great feature of the property, but it’s too warm to the point where it wasn’t very refreshing. Also, the breakfast was nice, but dinner is overpriced and very average.

Prima prijs kwaliteit verhouding voor een nachtje
Pros:

Een prachtige tuin met schilderachtige huisjes omgeven door smalle straatjes en een beetje weg gestopt. Een prima uitvalsbasis voor de start van je trip of het einde. Zeer vriendelijk personeel.

We had a wonderful stay at The Cottage Negombo and truly enjoyed every moment there. The property is beautifully designed, with several charming cottages nestled in lush greenery. This not only creates a peaceful atmosphere but also provides plenty of shade—perfect for relaxing outside your cottage even on hot days.

There is also a lovely pool where you can unwind after a long journey or simply relax before heading off on your next trip. It’s a perfect place to recharge.

A special mention goes to the owner, Asiri, who was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. He organized transfers, arranged delicious food, and gave us great tips for our time in the area. His hospitality really made a difference.

The location is also very convenient, not far from the airport—yet we didn’t hear any airplane noise at all, which made the stay even more peaceful.

We absolutely loved staying here and would definitely come back.

Kleine Oase mitten im Dschungel

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem einzigartigen Baumhaus-Hotel war einfach unvergesslich. Eingebettet in eine wunderschöne, familiengeführte Farm und umgeben von sattem Grün sowie einem traumhaften Blick auf die Berge, konnten wir vom ersten Moment an komplett abschalten.

Die Baumhäuser sind liebevoll gestaltet und bieten eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre – naturnah, ruhig und gleichzeitig unglaublich gemütlich. Jeden Morgen mit diesem Ausblick aufzuwachen, war ein echtes Highlight.

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Gastgeberfamilie: so herzlich, aufmerksam und authentisch, dass man sich sofort wie ein Teil der Familie fühlt. Mit viel Liebe wurden wir umsorgt, und die selbst zubereiteten Mahlzeiten waren einfach köstlich – frisch, regional und mit ganz viel Herz gekocht.

Ein weiteres Highlight waren die gemeinsamen Abende mit Musik, guter Stimmung und tollen Gesprächen. Diese Momente haben unseren Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht und bleiben uns lange in Erinnerung.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit und können diesen besonderen Ort jedem empfehlen, der Natur, Ruhe und echte Gastfreundschaft sucht.

Pros:

We arrived in the middle of the night, but that was not a problem. Our cabin was left open and we could sleep right away. In the morning we missed the breakfast, but the staff was so kind to arrange some fruit and yoghurt for us. The pool is amazing and we would have loved to stay another night, but that was not possible. Love to come back.

Een mooie rustige plek
Pros:

Een mooie, rustige plek om je reis te starten of eindigen. Het ligt een stukje van het centrum van Negombo, maar met een tuktuk ben je er zo. Het personeel is ongelofelijk aardig en wil alles voor je regelen.

Nickel pour se reposer et explorer Negombo
Pros:

Piscine très agréable, personnel adorable, très bons repas. Parfait comme point de chute pour explorer Negombo. Par contre les plages ne sont pas baignables.
