Our room smelt like someone had smoked in there even though this is against policy.
Our biggest issue was we didn't realise one exit to the lifts was actually for a fire escape. This would be fine except we couldn't get out. The door stated you'd be fined £200 if you opened it. All doors on the next few floors had numbered key pads, so couldn't get back in. It was 7am and no one was on reception when we called the number to ask what to do. As a last resort, we went back up in the lift to the 11th floor and went the other way and found the lift which did take us to reception. With an early flight looming, kids on a different floor, this panicked us!!! A simple sign on the door saying fire exit only would have of prevented this.
room was clean, the location was central and very competitively priced, the staff were lovely and the breakfast was excellent. don't be misled by the look of the building, the parking was mega cheap as well for 2.00 daily, could not failt and will use again.
