A stress free holiday
Pros:

This hotel is not too far from the airport and is right in the middle of the city center. The hotel staff was very courteous and met all our demands and expectations. The whole experience of staying in Alpine was beautiful.

The booking experience was pathetic as we travelled more than 2000km and didnt get to stay
Pros:

The property was getting renovated and closed when we went to the property. Dont know why booking.com did not know about this. Hence giving a bad review about the property

The staff makes this one extra special
Pros:

I booked this place because my other private room at a hostel was not as advertised. Man, am I glad that happened. Spent two nights here with my wife during our acclimatization. Excellent value and will recommend to all my friends.

The staff was fantastic. Stanzin and his team are so special. I mentioned we were going to get our inner line permit, and he just said, "I'll go do it for you," with no prompting at all. A huge weight off of our shoulders to enjoy Leh when we landed. Then we chatted about his culture, and he was so eager to share. I can't say enough about him or his staff. Good ole Ladakhi hospitality.

I don't know who was doing the cooking, but the breakfast was great, and the one night we had dinner there really hit the spot. Food was fabulous.

The location was great. Away from the hustle and bustle of the market, great views, and a great garden. Special shout out to Zi the dog.

Hot water, and I'm not sure if there's heating, but the rooms got really hot, and you'll need to open the windows at night. The insulation is pretty powerful stuff. Don't worry at all about the heating aspect.

Hotel is nearby leh market which is convinient. Rooms were clean and food was also nice. Staff was really helpful and polite.
