Hotel was lovely and staff very friendly and helpful
Our room was more a suite, lots of space and comfortable
Looked over car park and not the sea views, which was disappointing
Meals were excellent
Nothing
It’s a fabulous property in a great seafront location. The refurbished bar & restaurant is spectacular. The food is delicious & the service is great.
We didn’t like the buffet style breakfast - too many people milling about trying to get what they wanted. We prefer full table service.
Beautiful location
Rooms are varying quality with some not great for the money charged
Beautiful location, great staff.
Good facilities, pool, sauna,gym.
Great breakfast.
Nothing major.
The bed was comfortable. Room was large, clean and tidy, breakfast was tasty
Plug in bath didn't work.
TV in the room would not turn on.
Bath panel was broken.
Above was reported to staff, but was not repaired.
Full Scottish was a small portion
New refurbishment
Pool very tired
Evening meals returned poor seafood platter
Everything
Nothing
The room was lovely and clean. The staff are very friendly
Wasn't aware of construction on going. I ordered a seaview, which I got along with the view of building works below the window, which distracted from views of the sea.
Great location for our needs and extremely comfortable.
Perfectly placed and it had just opened the new Tides restaurant and Sirens cocktail bar
So there was a lovely buzz about the place
The room had a view of Arran
Nothing of note
lovely sea view. enjoyed the pool,it was a lovely temperature. the changing room could have been larger though.enjoyed our dinner and breakfast food. all public areas are lovely and bright
the changing rooms at the pool could be bigger .we found it cold there after coming out of the lovely warm pool
Some of the staff were exceptional, pool facilities were nice and we enjoyed good food.
When we were woken with a fire alarm on Thursday morning about 7 am the reception staff on duty were dismissive of questions about what had happened.
Breakfast was fabulous? All the staff were outstanding in all area's off hotel
Renovations going on but that couldn't be helped .
Didn't ruin our stay .
Breakfast was great, food in the evening was great. Enjoyed the Sea views from the lounge area.
Didn't realise refurbishments works on the restaurant were ongoing. Tended to be a bit noisy at times with workforce moving around the hotel.
