SMDC Fame Residence

SCAM! When we arrived at the lobby, the guest names were not provided. We tried to contact the unit owner, but there was no reply or answer. Our payment has not been returned/refund. Fame Residences should be aware of this issue.

This staycation was my mom's request for Christmas, and we were all excited, especially since it was her first time. We shared stories from previous stays at other places, but unfortunately, this one turned into a nightmare.

Upon arrival, the unit was extremely dirty. There was trash in the sink, including open packs of soy sauce and vinegar, cans, and other debris. We also found a lot of small cockroaches, which, while not huge, were still very unpleasant.

The smell in the unit was awful, but thankfully, there were essential oils and a humidifier we could use to mask it, so we let it slide. However, half of the bed was wet due to an aircon leak.

The bathroom was also in poor condition. The shower walls had yellow stains and an unpleasant smell, and there was no bidet, which we could overlook, but it was odd that the toilet paper holder was a Tupperware container.

The refrigerator had small worms inside when we opened it, forcing my brother-in-law to clean and disinfect it since we brought raw meat that needed to be refrigerated.

Lastly, we were not informed of the building’s pool policy, which only allows two people from a one-bedroom unit to swim, even though our unit was listed for four guests. The host claimed they were unaware of this policy, but it was still frustrating.

While we were disappointed, we tried to move past it for my mom’s sake. However, things took another turn when the host accused us of stealing utensils, which we never even used because of how dirty the place was.

This experience was far from what we expected, and I hope no one else faces these issues. I strongly advise against booking this place until these problems are addressed.
