Comfortable chalets in lush, relaxing garden
Pros:

We stopped here for our last night in Sri Lanka. The place is located a little of our the main time, which suited us. The garden around the property is lush- lots of plants, birds, chameleons, fireflies... We enjoyed walking around. The pool is clean and big, with areas to relax around it. The chalets comfortable- they had everything we needed.
Finally, the staff was so friendly and helpful- always available and clearly taking lots of care to look after the place.

A peaceful haven, the most gorgeous gardens
Pros:

The gardens were gorgeous- like a mini tropical botanical garden. The pool was a good size to swim in and great area for relaxing. Extremely friendly staff. Great showers!

Decent stay but customer service needs to improve
Pros:

The grounds of the property are pretty and peaceful. The room I was staying in was fairly comfortable with a good balcony.

Cons:

My interactions with most staff were great, apart from at checkout presumably with the property manager. He was very rude and patronising to me about checking out at 6am. This is despite them saying they have 24 hour reception, one of the main reasons I booked! I would expect better from a hotel entirely geared up for people using the nearby airport.

The food offer and quality was very standard, the pool water a little murky. Maybe would be better to stay closer to Negombo as there are few restaurants in the area so you’re forced to eat at the hotel.

Charming villas in lush green surroundings with pool
Pros:

Brilliant base for a couple of nights after flying in
Close to airport
Owners, Deseray and Bredan, were charming and helpful
Delicious food and lovely pool

Cons:

Lots of standing water means mosquitoes! Bring spray.

They can’t help it but the local bread Tuk Tuk so early in the morning and it’s annoying song! (It happens across Sri Lanka- you’ll be very familiar with the tune by the end of your stay!)

A good overall stay with friendly service, but the payment process should have been more transparent.
Pros:

We were satisfied with our stay overall. The main advantage of this property is definitely its proximity to the airport, which makes it especially convenient for travelers arriving in or leaving Sri Lanka. There is also a free airport pickup if you stay there on your first night in Sri Lanka, which is a very helpful service. The staff were generally kind and accommodating. We also enjoyed the breakfast, and the property itself is interesting and varied, with a lot to look at.

Cons:

Outside the property, there is not much of interest for tourists, and there are no nearby restaurants within easy reach. Our main criticism was the payment process at the end of the stay. We asked at check-in whether card payment was possible, and this was confirmed without any further explanation. We also asked again via WhatsApp and received the same answer. However, when it came to paying, we were told that we also had to cover the Booking service fee, which was not included in the invoice shown to us on Booking and added around 10% to the total. On top of that, card payment was subject to an additional 3% fee, which is not unusual in Sri Lanka, but we would have appreciated being informed of both extra charges when we asked in advance. In that case, we would simply have withdrawn cash beforehand.
But we still had a nice stay.

Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis (37 Dollar für eine Nacht),
Gestaltung der Außenanlage (viele Pflanzen, Beschilderung von Kräutern, Hängematten),
Außendusche mit starkem Wasserstrahl,
Toilettenpapier und Duschartikel standen reichlich zur Verfügung,
Gute Auswahl zum Frühstück (allerdings kaum gewürzt),
Bezahlung mit VISA möglich,

Tankstelle und Supermarkt in der Nähe,
Unterkunft bietet Flughafenshuttle an,

Pros:

Het hotel is handig gelegen ten opzichte van het vliegveld, vandaar dat we ook voor deze accommodatie kozen. Onze ervaring kwam helaas niet overeen met die van eerdere gasten. Wel was het zwembad net schoongemaakt, waar we heerlijk van hebben genoten.

Cons:

We hadden 3 kamers, met elk hun mankementen. Eén kamer was behoorlijk klein met een bed van 1.20 m breed voor twee personen. We konden nauwelijks onze koffer kwijt en mijn man is bijna 3 keer uit bed gevallen.
De andere twee kamers waren zeer gedateerd en hadden veel ongedierte, waaronder een kakkerlak ter grootte van je hand.
Daarnaast was het eten ondermaats. Zeer gewoontjes en de nasi goreng had harde, ondefinieerbare stukjes.
Het was ons laatste verblijf van de vakantie. We waren eerlijk gezegd blij dat het na deze nacht erop zat.
