Cons:

1. While the hotel liberally advertised they accept card, they only accept card in colones. So if you have pre-booked in USD terms, the exchange rate applied by the hotel will be unfair to say the least. Expect to pay at least 10% more.
2. There is no air conditioning in the room or communal area making sleep almost impossible.
3. It is not convenient for eating in town the hill back is steep and dark or you will need a car or taxi.

Die Unterkunft ist Traumhaft.
Die Zimmer lassen keine Wünsche offen und beim Ausblick von der Terasse kann man viele Vögel beobachten.
Jonny und Miguel sind sehr herzliche und naturverbundene Gastgeber.
Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr lecker. Das Zusammensitzen mit den anderen Gästen beim Essen war besonders schön. So fand ein reger Austausch statt und es gab viele lustige Gespräche.

Cons:

Laut Buchung bei Booking war Frühstück inbegriffen, das tauchte auf der Rechnung jedoch nicht auf, sodass wir fürs Frühstück noch zahlen mussten.
Da hätten wir besser aufpassen sollen .

You can have a taste of both, quiet nature and a bit of lively atmosphere nearby at Finca Maresia
Pros:

This was the best stay we had in Costa Rica so far. Emilio, Johnny and the team are wonderful and helpful, they made us feel very welcome. We were able to catch birds flying and sitting on trees from the main reception/common area (which was very well designed to overlook the whole area), the cabins and when walking around the property. It is located outside of Drake Bay, 20min by foot. The best walk/hike we did was to the beach of Cocalito where we had the beach for ourselves for a while.

Cons:

While you can have dinner at Finca Maresia, we decided to go to the village twice and getting back at night meant either a stroll through absolute darkness or pre ordering a taxi/car. Note that the path way to Drake bay and beach is okay with good hiking shoes.

Très belle propriété proche du centre de Drake, les jardins et les oiseaux sont magnifiques, l'accueil à été très sympathique et chaleureux, la douche est géniale, la chambre propre. Seul bémol : nous avons pris une chambre sans clim et le ventilateur au plafond ne suffisait pas avec la moustiquaire.

Perfect stay in Drake bay
Pros:

Emilio was so kind and attentive from the first day of booking to the last day of our stay. The place itself is magical, we felt so at peace here surrounded by nature. I loved hanging on their terrace and spotting numerous birds.
Bed was super comfortable.

We will always remember our stay at Finca Maresia. It was a perfect setting.
Pros:

Finca Maresia is a fantastic destination. It is a beautiful collection of individual cottage-rooms with a main area for meals and relaxing (and watching birds!). We had delicious breakfasts and dinners with companions from all over the world. The staff was fantastic, especially Jonny and Emilio who handled all our needs.

Nothing, it was perfect.

Es war (wieder!) großartig, Zimmer & Lage wunderschön. Man hat immer einen Ansprechpartner für Unternehmungen, Restaurantempfehlungen oder sonstige Fragen. Das Frühstück ist vielseitig und das Abendessen möchte man nicht verpassen. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit zurück.
