Dartmouth Hotel Pub is without doubt worth staying at, it's fabulous!
Pros:

I found the owner and staff very welcoming. The owner took me to my room and showed me how everything works (TV, air conditioning) which was a nice touch. I was also shown where breakfast will be in the morning and told to simply help myself to whatever I would like. My evening meal was delicious and plentiful, nothing to fault here. The room too was very nicely renovated.

Cons:

To be honest, there's nothing to fault. If you have chosen to stay here you know you're staying at a pub, not a motel.
Also, if you have chosen to stay here you know the location (which is in a beautiful part of Victoria) so you know you're not in a big town like say Albury.

Had a great night with old school mates. 0 deg but room was toasty. Bed and pillow were better than mine at home!!

Pros:

The atmosphere in the pub and the friendly service is second to none. I would highly recommend the stay. The steak was cooked perfectly, and Glen the publican was the greatest host.

Glen was a welcoming and proactive host who provided excellent hospitality, including advance notice
Pros:

Glen was an excellent host and although the dinner facilities were not available the night I stayed, he made sure to call me in advance so that I could grab dinner in the nearby town of Mitta Mitta on my way in! Excellent hospitality, great location - would definitely recommend.

Glenn the publican was very friendly and accommodating people need to go there and support places like this without that they shut up and then there gone the Dam is good for a look take ya boat go fishing king parrots are friendly oh and there is a complimentary breakfast in the lounge for you

Glen, the proprietor, was a gem. Very friendly and helpful but let down by staff. Pub meals good.
Pros:

adequately provided for help your-self in the dining room.

Cons:

The rooms we booked, clean and prepared . One was the other not. We had to transfer to an adjacent Motel for accommodation which was ok.
