Jessies beach house

Loved it

We were welcomed to Jessie’s beach house by the beautiful smiling faces of owner Sri, daughter Jessi and Debi. It felt like we’d landed at home. Everyone was so friendly and helpful including Paul (Sri’s husband) and the rest of the team (Lily, Gracie, Lila). The pool was beautiful and clean and a treat to have right there to be able to dip into and out of. The location couldn’t have been better, directly across from the beach but protected by the buffer forest. The breakfast was delicious and so filling. We dined in once and the food was delicious - Sri was happy to whip up a Caesar dressing for my salad. Because the kitchen is the heart of the beach house it was easy to feel part of the family. It was awesome to have use of a couple of foamie surfboards for
our stay also. The rooms were spacious, very quiet and private overlooking the back garden full of orchids and fruit trees. Our room had a tv and fridge but we didn’t need to use them because we’d sit out in the communal area and chat with Paul and watch whatever he had on the big screen. We enjoyed our stay so much and would love to come and stay again if we are ever in Pulau Merah. Thanks so much Sri, Paul, Jessie and team.

We stayed at Jessi’s House for 6 weeks and couldn’t have been happier! Almost every day started with a 10-minute walk to the waves and a surf in the warm water. Next, we’d come back, have a shower, and enjoy a delicious breakfast next to the pool before settling into our air-conditioned room to work. The room had a big desk, and the internet was reliable, which made Jessi’s House a perfect place for an extended work-away trip.

There are several restaurants within walking distance and a supermarket just around the corner, so we had everything we needed for a comfortable long stay.

The whole team who looked after us at Jessi’s House were incredibly warm and helpful, and we already miss them! Thank you to Sri, Lala, Lily, Lila, Paul, Jessi, and Ella for making our stay so happy and memorable. We’ll definitely be back! :)

We had a lovely stay at Jessie's beach house. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and very clean. They have a beautiful garden with tons of orchids. The breakfast was prepared freshly every morning and contained everything we could have wished for. Additionally we ate dinner here a couple of times, which was also delicious and hands down some of the best food we ate during our trip (we loved the Gado Gado and Nasi Goreng, ordered it multiple times). Thank you for everything, we'd love to come back!

The owner and her daughter are wonderful people! They made me feel right at home. I truly felt like I was part of the family. ❤️

Nous avons passé 6 nuits très confortables !! La chambre simple mais suffisante pour les vacances. Une propreté parfaite, tous les jours la chambre est faite, les serviettes changées et vous pouvez même faire laver votre linge sale.
Le quartier est très calme ( pour Java ça change !!!) L’ensemble du staff est adorable, toutes très gentilles aux petits soins !!!! Petit déjeuner excellent.
La plage est à 5 min à pied. Bref une excellente adresse à Pulau Merah

Super chill and clean place in front of the beach. Nice and spacious rooms with a perfect common space to relax. Also the breakfast and the food in general is really good, reccomended!

C'était très bien mais très peu de choix de restaurants. Il y a parcontre un très bon restaurant pas très loin sur une rue à l'opposé que je vous recommande car le resto de l'hôtel offre très peu de choix et c'est vraiment très cher. Le staff était fabuleux mais nous avons moins aimé le propriétaire. Heureusement que sa femme était présente, très accommodante et très sympathique.

The house has fantastic facilities, including a yard. I really enjoyed chatting with Jessie and her friend. Best of that, the house was really near the beach; I surfed every day during my vacation.

Very friendly hospitality. Also had tasty food, with breakfast and daily laundry included.

The friendliness of from the moment you arrive. The bed was so comfortable. We felt at home. The pool was perfect size for children to play. They did our laundry daily, what a treat. Fresh towels daily. Complimentary breakfast.

We had a fantastic stay at Jessie's Beach House. The location is perfect, just across from the beach and ideal for surfers and beach lovers.
What really stood out was the incredible kindness of the host. She went above and beyond to help us, even organizing a scooter for us when rentals are usually hard to find in the area. Nothing was too much trouble, and she always made us feel welcome.
The breakfast was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, and overall it was a perfect experience from start to finish.
Highly recommended — we would definitely stay here again!

It's too easy to say that we liked everything, Jessi and her staff are simply amazing. I arrived really early in the morning with my friend after a long journey with no sleep and they were simply special. Welcoming us with the best smiles, they gave us the perfect breakfast and let us go to our room. The location is just beautiful, the rooms have all the space you need and in case you want to chill out there is a lovely pool where you can stay as long as you like, maybe with a good juice on your side, you won't regret the choice of coming here!

The place was clean and beautiful, the staff wonderful, the included breakfast delicious, and location just a short jaunt to the beach, just a pleasant experience all around. Also a couple of surf boards were free for use as a plus. I highly recommend Jessie's!
