Subject: Illegal and Arbitrary Cancellation of Confirmed Booking and Demand for Immediate Accommodation and Compensation

Sir/Madam,

I had made a reservation at your hotel through Booking.com for check-in on 19 June 2026. The booking was duly confirmed, and I received a confirmation from Booking.com, thereby creating a valid and binding contract for accommodation.

To my shock and surprise, while I was attending a family function, I received calls from your hotel. Since the number was unknown and I was occupied, I could not answer immediately. Subsequently, I received a message asking me to confirm my booking. A few hours later, I received another message stating that my reservation had been cancelled solely because I had not responded to your calls and messages.

I wish to state that a confirmed booking cannot be arbitrarily cancelled merely because a guest does not answer calls from an unknown number, particularly when no such condition was disclosed at the time of booking. Your action is unreasonable, unfair, and amounts to deficiency in service and unfair trade practice.

By cancelling my accommodation on the day of check-in, you have placed me in an extremely difficult situation and have exposed me and my family to the risk of travelling during late and odd hours in search of alternative accommodation. This has caused considerable inconvenience, mental distress, anxiety, and financial loss.

Therefore, I hereby call upon you to:

1. Immediately honour the confirmed booking and provide accommodation as originally reserved; OR
2. Arrange equivalent or superior accommodation at no additional cost to me; and
3. Compensate me for all additional expenses, inconvenience, mental agony, and losses caused due to your arbitrary cancellation.

I had done online booking.i was told day before that the ex suite nt available.i was transfered to V star hotel.that hotel was nt upto the mark.and too costly.i had a uncomfortable stay

Cleanliness not enough. Washroom cannot take shower. Water coming out from the tub .
No buffet breakfast in the morning.

Toilet , water is not draining out, service is too bad, my expectation before was good now it's not even equivalent to local lodge.
Even booked before a day, by giving the arrival time, room was not ready to occupy. Next day my friend came and have to wait for 2 hours. It's so bad.

There is nothing to like, it was very poor

Completely screwed up internet service...like Ashoka in Rameswaram. Reception placed the blame on ISP. Internet cnecn in the room deplorable. Was excellent in the restaurant. Restaurant does not open for breakfast till 8 am. I had to leave the hotel before 7 am because of the restaurant/breakfast issue. The receptionist hd a " take it or leave it" attitude when I checked out. He had to be woken up to do my ck out!!! Bhimashankar Temple devotees have time sche to reach the temple early.

Ac was not cooling. Rooftop restaurant had poor quality food and service.

Even for extra water they charge which is not justified, after all it's only water which the guest is asking for to quench his thirst. This really has taken me on a back foot

Had paid for breakfast , there was no buffet and no Ala karte was given and the staff said you can order out of 5 items which was very basic like masala dosa ,idli, upma,and bread omelet. Was treated like a local hotel. And more over asked staff for menu he said they don't have. I paid extra for breakfast which was waste . The staff needed to continuously reminded for even a water bottle . After 6 calls and I had to go to lobby for a water bottle . So stay wise hotel was very good cause it was a new property rest everything was horrible.
