The convenience of the leveled parking for hotel guests. And instead of 2 single beds, they gave us two queen size beds.
No chairs to sit on in the hotel lobby. The staff are unfriendly, a bit rude, not enthusiastic in welcoming the guests. The hotel tv was not functioning and we needed to refer to maintenance people to fix it. The breakfast buffet was horrible. We stayed at Tower A, the old block, and the room was very antiquated, the moth ball smell from the drawers and closet were very pungent and unpleasant. They are very stingy with their hotel toiletries. The room is a bit stuffy and not cold. The hairdryer is very very old-fashioned and I couldn't seem to get my hair dry using it.
Good location and value for money.
The room was perfect
Location
Room was very basic, but clean.
Worst breakfast ar a hotel I have ever had
Staff were much less friendly and helpful than other hotels in Malaysia. Cleanliness was sub-par, particularly in the stair wells which were like giant ash trays. Breakfast was also sub par. Expensive for what it was.
Note pool and gym are in a different building, not the hotel itself.
Impressive looking for Sibu from the outside. General cleanliness and reception staff were warm and welcoming, and the concierge service. Laundry service had an exceptionally quick turnaround.
I was bitten to death by bedbugs so badly I had to sleep on top of bed with trousers and socks on. One day my room was not made up, I had no sign to use to request clean, and I had to call housekeeping only to see very unhappy looking cleaning staff with long faces at the door . The WiFi was slow too.
Nice view.
Car park access
Nothing
Unclean
Toilet did not flush
Tv was not working
Gym closed permanently
The food the breakfast the view
I think the air conditioning should change to the new one especially the room at the old wing building..My room was okay but my family's room the air-conditioning was not functioning properly..So better change to the new one 😅
The staff attitude is good
The bathroom glass door can't close properly, the water flows to the toilet floor, I had a fall because the floor was so wet and slippery our room was 1043, hope the bathroom door can be fixed
The hotel is only 10-15 min walk to the town centre. We walked everywhere around the town, and used Grab for farther attractions.
There are plenty of choices available in breakfast. If you want to enjoy local cuisine, there are plenty of restaurants and cafes around the hotel.
The hotel porter Isam was wonderful and courteous with great smile. He handled our luggage with great care, even helped us looking out for our taxi.
The cigarette smell went through our ventilation (we have non smoking room), when we alert the reception, instead of investigating the source, they offered to change room, or spray air freshener.
The hotel prioritise pool functions over the guests because they close the swimming pool early (5pm) although the sign says 8pm.
