I stayed here on the 20th March 2026 for one night. I booked a balcony apartment.
THIS IS A LONG READ BUT IMPORTANT TO GUESTS AND FELLOW BIKERS!!!
Upon arrival there was no one around and it looked like the place was closed. Luckily, a lady appeared who I assume is the owner.
The room I checked in to had dead cockroaches in the bathroom and on the windowsill and a spider on the ceiling in the main room. I asked to change to a clean room which, to her credit she did immediately. The second room was not a balcony but I didn’t mind. Upon entering the second room it smelt clean straight away and felt like it had been better looked after than the original room I checked in to.
The gym is well equipped however I didn’t use it. The restaurant/bar on the top floor is nonexistent.
From what I can gather there was only one other person staying there who I assume is her son who had his door open whilst she shouted up to him and had conversations that I could hear very clearly from my room opposite.
Now, here is where it gets strange-er!
I parked my motorcycle (Honda XR150) at the entrance among 4 other scooters. There was ample parking for at least another 30 bikes. I understand in busy parking lots not to lock the bikes steering/forks as security needs to move bikes around. However, this hotel is on the outskirts of town and I felt an extra layer of security was needed.
The lady who checked me in knocked on my door asking me to unlock the steering on my bike. Whilst I was getting my shoes on she entered the room and started checking cupboards and the fridge which I felt was an invasion of privacy - I’ve paid for this room and it now has my belongings in it.
I had assured her that if the bike needs moving feel free to come let me know and I will move it to where it needs to be moved to.

Dirty apartment, old/used shampoo packages in the shower. Dirty kitchen. Ants in the kitchen and sleeping room even in the bed.
Good place in Tam Ky city
The manager was very kind and helped us out a lot. We needed to cut our stay short (due to noise) and the manager understood and didn't make any fuss, just charged us for the usage we had. Very easy to communicate with and replies quickly to messages through booking.com
The location is out of the city a bit, but it's what we wanted to this is a positive for us.
The building is very new, clean and comfortable
The rooms are not sound proofed, there was a room occupied directly opposite and we could hear their every conversation.
There is also work still being done on the kitchen so the noise started at 7am - not too late for some but we were hoping for a lie in.
The matress on the bed was a sponge-like material, not a 'proper' matress. I woke up a bit stiff from this.
I had a pleasant stay with the friendliness staff and comfort facilities. It's new so everything is great. The only downside is the location is about 4km away from the city's centre so not much in the surrounding. Nearby Nguyen Van Troi bridge, there're plenty of nice and peaceful coffee shop in the evening.
A bit far from the city centre so I don't have much option for food. You can take the taxi (with support from receptionist/guard) to city centre but it's not the best transportation if you want to explore the city.
