Scary
Cons:

I have a handicap child I had to walk and go up the elevator. The keys did not work. We had to go back down. They gave me working keys. Somebody else was in the room. It was very dangerous. I don’t think I would ever stay with y’all again. I was by myself with my two kids one is special needs.

The breakfast was really good. Plenty of food and the variety was nice.

Cons:

The shower head did work properly and we could not get cold water in the bathroom sink. Also, I had booked this through Booking. com and I said the room was for three adults and one dog. I never saw an additional fee for my dog nor did the desk tell me there was a fee when I registered. It wasn't until the very end where the checkout clerk told me there was a $115 fee for my dog. So I felt blindsided by that. It should have been on the website or upon checking in. Also at $115 for my dog, that's more than they charge for 3 adults. More than I have paid anywhere.

It was older and good be upgraded but not horrible. My tub faucet would not close completely when you turn the shower on and so water filled at the bottom of the tub.

We had a great stay at Hyatt Place Lubbock!
Pros:

When we arrived, the woman at the front desk was incredibly helpful. She even signed me up for the Hyatt rewards program (which is completely free), and because of that, we were able to park for free—a nice surprise!
Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and we had no issues during our stay.

Cons:

The only downside was that the pool was closed, which was a little disappointing, especially for our kids. We chose to stay here for the indoor pool.

We were only going to stay 1 night but stayed 2 and was able to get a late check out staff was super friendly and helpful and breakfast was great as well thank you

Parking is 9.00 a day not 7 but that’s it

Clean room and good breakfast
Pros:

It was very clean, i have a hard time staying at hotels because my young children like to touch everything, it was so clean and the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and every member of the staff we ran into were so kind to us and our children especially the two cleaning ladies we encountered in the halls and the ladies serving breakfast,very kind staff, we will be staying here from now on whenever we visit lubbock

Surprised with the nice room and staff.
Pros:

Desk staff very friendly. Room was large and nice. Would be nice to have bisquits and gravy in the free breakfast.
