Nu am putut sa stau in acele conditii. Am fost mintita ca o sa primesc banii înapoi de la booking dar ei au spus ca nu m-am prezentat. Vacanta ratata
Frühstück - keine Obst
Kind staff, fantastic breakfast. Walking distance to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, the harbour and the Grand Bazaar.
Location is good
The reception did not accept card payments, the machine was not working and they refused to resolve it demanding personal transfers and cash. The room was so small not as on the pictures, everything is quite old, no soap in the bathroom! We had to ask for it. For 3 people they put 2 big towels and that it! No towels for hands no consideration about amount of people. The lock in the toilet was broken and my sister got stuck. The light had problems they came to fix it by turning on and off entire electricity in the floor. Reception did not speak English, there was no minibar, just empty fridge. Bad impression in general of not being welcomed, lack of quality service and ability to do their job.
Breakfast was good
Staff are nice
Friendly stuff
Nothing
Well-positioned, and the room being kept clean and refurbished everyday. The staff was very friendly and helpful: they organised the transfer to/from the airport.
The room was not comfy. What we didn't like was: tiny passage between bed and wall with the risk of hitting the TV, no room to leave the shoes outside the window, and although the room was kept clean by the staff, the poor finishing (overflows of expanding foam in many corners, stripes on the floor, curtains falling out of guides, no ventilation) never made the room feel like clean. The breakfast takes place in another hotel and was by far the worse we had in Turkey. we ended up paying for breakfast in the nearby places.
Breakfast was good. Staff are very polite.
Room very small.
The location is perfect. Just near sirkeci B1 metro station and also the tram is very close where you can go to sultan ahmet
They gave us the room in the first floor which was so close from the reception. I heard noises from their until 6 in the morning
Location is convenient to walk to the main attractions at the city centre. Breakfast is acceptable. That's all- our overall experience was very awful in the hotel and we do not recommend to stay in this hotel at all. Find somewhere else!
The worst was the personnel, and then the room facilities. We first wanted some information about reaching the hotel by public transport- the answer is "I don't know" and "Find a taxi yourself". This is not welcoming at all and makes you think the personnel does not care at all about you and wants a commission from their private transportation system or something... Taxis cost 50€ (1h), today we were almost treated as crazy to want to use public transport, and left a lot of time in advance just in case. You must know that with 2 changes costs less than 2,5€ following instructions from Google, it took us 1,5h hours and no hassle at all. You may not know the information (although being at a hotel in Central Istambul I think you should know this) but it was how we were told the information that felt being mistreated, to be honest.
Then the room. It was not what you expect from the pictures provided by booking. And the state was really bad. The courtains were falling, there were large humidities in the wall, the room was extremely small (unlike what the pics show in booking). +important: there is an important security failure because we were in a room with a door to the emergency door and stairs outside: that was open to outside and a good entrance door for thiefs. No key was provided and they said "we do not have a key to lock this door because it has to be open". How can this be? My belongings free to take for outsiders?
Never more in this hotel. Ever.
Hər şey normal idi
