Breakfast was amazing
The room was so cramped and I could barely walk in it. It had a weird smell. The mattress was very old and worn out.

The entrance is connected to the restaurant , better signage could be helpful.
Все было прекрасно. Хорошее расположение, рядом метро и трамвай. Все исторические места рядом. Завтраки хорошие порции, все вкусно. В отеле чисто и комфортно. В гостинице есть ресторан, можно отдельно ужинать. Тоже очень веусно готовят. И цены очень хорошие. Очень рекомендуем.
La ubicación, el desayuno, el personal.
Las habitaciones que son muy pequeñitas y que la TV cuando llegamos estaba de lado, casi para caerse y la baje y puse en el suelo porque el soporte estaba mal empotrado le hacían falta arandelas. Lo fui a comentar con el de recepción y muy amablemente lo reviso y fue a comprar las arandelas y las coloco y quedaron bien. Pero cuando puso la TV estaba rota la pantalla no se cuanto tiempo llevaba así y no nos la cambiaron y no pudimos ver nada en la TV durante el tiempo de estancia. A las almohadas por lo visto no le ponen funda, y el protector q dejan es super pegajoso y eso hace incomodidad. Al hacer la limpieza no pasaron ningún cepillo en el colchón y en media noche sentimos que algo nos molestaba en la espalda y eran unas ampollas de suero fisiológico oh de lágrimas artificial, el cubre colchón estaba muy sucio o amarillo. Al siguiente día quitamos todo y lo tiramos al suelo para que nos cambiarán todo.

Very good location.
Poor quality sheets on the bed. Pillowcase was absent. There was no shower door, so I had to be very careful in order not to make the floor wet. Also, the ceiling is very low and anyone higher than 180 cm can easily bump it frequently.
This is our second time staying at the hotel. The hospitality and helpfulness of the staff was still outstanding. We really enjoyed our time here again. We will definitely book accommodation here again next time we visit Istanbul.
During the summer high season, the breakfast area seemed a bit limited compared to our previous winter trip. We had to wait for a table, even though we arrived on time. Fortunately, the food selection was constantly reloaded.
Th elocation is really hard to beat: smack in the middle of the old town, half a block from the tram line and less than 10 minute walk from the HAVAIST bus from/to the airport. The manager (owner?) is also extremely nice. Other than that, this is a basic accomodation, but that is precisely what I needed and the price was bery hard to beat.
It appears the room used to be a smoking room in the past; there was some lingering smell that I am familiar with from staying in old American motels. It was faint enough so that I would stop smelling it within minutes but could definitely sence it upon every entry. Then again, seemingly everyone smokes in Istanbul, so I am not really surprised.
We booked the hotel just for our last night in Istanbul before flight back. When we arrived the first recepxionist told us there was a small problem with the room—the air conditioner had broken down. He offered us a better room, but we had to wait an hour for it to be ready. After that, the room still wasn’t available. They said they were cleaning it. The receptionist from the next shift arrived; he spoke English much better and was the only good thing about the hotel, aside from the location. He was very embarrassed by what was happening, since there were neither clean towels nor sheets. At the end, the better room offered before, was not available for some reason. He went to the laundry somewhere around, himself to get them. He was very helpful in trying to solve the situation, since I had already asked for a refund and wanted to go to another hotel.
We waited for over two and a half hours, and the manager offered us a 5-euro discount on a taxi! But I didn’t even booked a taxi with them!
The room is very small, and the single bed was a fold-out and very uncomfortable. Anyway, it wasn’t a good stay at all. I just appreciate the employee’s thoughtfulness.
