Adequate, but prepare to be chilled
Pros:

The hotel was conveniently located
The room was spacious and the bathroom was more than adequate

Cons:

The ventilation system left us uncomfortable, my wife shivered until she found the big blanket
The thermostat was inside a box with warnings against any adjustments
The first floor room was noisy

Pros:

The hotel was very clean , room was nice size , nice large bathroom with very good walk in shower. Very comfortable bed and pillows. The only thing it should have had a comfortable chair to sit in there were two small uncomfortable table chairs to sit on to watch tv. Very clean safe location with easy access to South County St Louis , Mo. plenty of restaurants near by. I would highly recommend the Principal Hotel

Pretty hotel, quiet stay
Pros:

This property was beautiful. It seemed centrally located in the town and had a lot of local places close by. The whole hotel seemed very clean, smelled heavenly, and was simple yet beautiful. Our room was spotless and the bed was so comfortable. There was a full-size fridge inside, too, which was unexpected. We didn't personally have anything we needed to keep cold but I think it's great for others to know! The hotel was also very quiet. I'm not sure what it was before becoming a hotel, but the rooms were nice and spread out, hallways were wide, and the decor is all school-themed. We would definitely consider staying here again!

Cons:

The only thing that was off to us was honestly the staff. No one smiled or was overly friendly at any point. Usually when you walk in a hotel, they greet you kindly and with a smile. Not here. There was a younger girl working the counter and I don't think she even stood up to help us. The only other staff we saw were the cleaning staff in the morning and the lady at the counter when we checked out. The lady at the counter in the morning at least told us to have a good day, but still very much lacking in any sort of energy.

Very cool place, you should check it out.
Pros:

This place is unique and very cool. The town is safe and traffic was easy when leaving for St. Louis in the morning. It’s a safe town, no noise.
