Hotel what you would expect location dissapointing.
Pros:

Clean Rom good facilities quiet until building site started at about 7.30 (ok for us).

Cons:

The 10 mins from centre was by car not walking. Took 35mins to walk to town . No decent restaurants etc nearby

Pros:

Quick and easy check-in, staff very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was excellent, with a huge selection to choose from and a spacious eating area.
The location was good - the hotel is in the outskirts, but there are two buses just around the corner that run every twenty minutes and take you to the city centre in 15 minutes - preferable to having to park in Galway.

Cons:

The pillows (feathers I think) and mattress were not firm enough for my liking, so I woke up with a slight backache - but this is a personal preference, my husband liked them both.
Also, the artificial smell (an aromatic spray?) in the hotel (including in the room) was a bit unpleasant.

Excellent stay in a relatively new hotel. Room was comfortable and relaxing. Free parking in garage in basement. There is a great restaurant and bar. We ate at the bar with the excellent service and food. Highly recommend.
