Pros:

Excellent and comfortable hotel and in particular the hotel staff were professional, enthusiastic, friendly, dynamic and flexible. The meeting room was perfect for the combined person/online meeting we organized, wifi was excellent - great for meetings/side events. Good food on the menu at the restaurant. Thank you to Penda and the events team, clear communication pre-meeting, excellent organization and all was perfect on the day. She even came in on her day off to ensure all was in place for our meeting and all was beyond expectations. Adrien and team at reception, and Mbaye and team at the restaurant/catering were all excellent - really impressed with them all.

Cons:

The hotel is conveniently located close to airport and CICAD conference centre but tough to walk anywhere.

Only place; unfortunately ,to stay.
Pros:

It was THEplace in Dakar and the folks coming and going were very interesting.

Cons:

Not everything worked and they seemed to expect that when I called .
Also, rooms were available Le for an early check in after a long flight from Dulles. They made me pay a fee to get into the room 4 hours early. A gimmick
