Hotel with excellent views.
Pros:

Hotel is in quiet location with views of the mountains from lounge, room and dining room. Warm swimming pool open all the time with sauna. Staff very friendly and speak English. Bed very comfortable and room very clean with balcony. Coffee and cake from 4pm to 5pm provided free. Free to take a roll for lunch from the excellent breakfast buffet. 15mins walk to town but mostly across quiet pasture land. Nebelhorn lift 2 miles away but we walked as nice walking through smart town and NTC rental can keep your skis overnight so not difficult walking.
Hotel provided taxi to pick us up from station and back again at end. A traditional hotel that I would recommend for a quiet stay. No evening meals here but that is no problem as town has plenty of choice.

Great value in a beautiful setting
Pros:

Definitely worth the cost. Great location. One limitation: this hotel does not have a night person on duty after 7:00 p.m. We found ourselves locked out one evening, which required some scrambling. Otherwise great value in a beautiful environment.
