We had an amazing stay at The Candlelight Inn. Mike and April are incredible hosts who have truly thought of everything. The breakfast is the perfect way to fuel up for a day of hiking and sight-seeing. There is a ton of information laid out on local activities, restaurants, and events. And Mike and April are happy to provide recommendations on the best ways to explore the area. Can't say enough good things - definitely stay here. You won't regret it!

This converted church is beautifully renovated. The rooms are large and very well appointed. Breakfast was a wide range of options all home made. Michael and April gave us many ideas on what to do and where to eat in Rocky Harbour. I would recommend this Inn to everyone I know!

Wonderful hosts, breakfast and location on sea front just a few minutes walk to centre of Rocky Harbour. Great for sunsets behind Lobster Head Lighthouse.

We loved our stay at the Candlelight Inn. Checking in was easy and we really enjoyed the location. The amenities in the bathrooms were lovely and really added to the experience :) We made use of the fantastic breakfast and sat out by the fire pit even though there was a fire ban. The property is quiet but cozy. Our only issue was our room was on the second floor, and with no air conditioning it was extremely warm to sleep. We had a small ceiling fan but it was so loud neither myself or my friend were able to sleep. We turned the bathroom fan on to try to drown out the ceiling fan which helped a bit.
Another thing that should be noted is the property is directly in front of a cemetery (between the house and the ocean) which may be problematic for some folks and should probably be more clear in the description/photos.
Otherwise we had a lovely time!

The Hosts were polite, accommodating & helpful with info about the area. They were extremely detail oriented regarding what was provided. The room & common areas were well equipped & nicely appointed. Most importantly the entire property was so IMMACULATE !

It did not feel like a B&B. The Candlelight Inn was like being home away from home but more comfortable. If all Inns were like this, I will forget about staying at hotels. It should have its own 5-Star rating. Thank you April and Michael.

Lovely hosts! Great place to take a break and spend a day walking the shoreline, quite the rock collection on the beach ;) if you like collecting rocks, kept me busy all afternoon. Wonderful little homestyle Diner down the main street, a few minutes walk. Hiking trails everywhere surrounded by Ocean, can’t go wrong.

The location near town center and beside the sea is excellent. We especially liked the breakfast area which was bright, spacious and allowed easy contact with fellow guests. April and Michael also make delicious breakfasts to order. Our room was spacious and well equipped. The bed was really comfortable too. We liked the Adirondack chairs facing the bay.

Great place to stay. Property and Rooms are very nice and the breakfast was awesome. Most importantly the owners/hosts were great and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Highly recommend staying here.
