Accueil trés sympathique et ambiance chaleureuse. Emplacement ideal pour visiter le « Peak District » - tres bons petits-déjeuners et restaurant-pub de qualite.

Just what we needed a lovely pub great food and atmosphere. Quiet comfortable room. Lovely breakfast.

Excellent couple of days and we plan a return.
Pros:

Great location for Chatsworth Estate to walk our dog and a bonus the sun was shining! The hotel staff were excellent, everyone very friendly, helpful & professional. The room was comfortable although it would have been even better with a second chair rather than having to sit or lie on the bed after our walks to enjoy a cuppa!

Cons:

The shower pressure was too low, we were unable to regulate the water temperature, there was a sign with a “caution very hot water”but trying to achieve a safe temperature proved difficult. The wall stand holding the shower hose was not secure.

Pros:

Breakfast was very good
The staff were excellent, very friendly and went above and beyond to help
Bedroom was basic but had plenty teas and coffee available . Toiletries also provided

Cons:

The bedroom was slightly cold and the bed was a tad too small for my six foot husband

Everything was very good. The staff were very friendly and went way above expectations during drinks, the evening meal and breakfast.
