Nice reasonable option for visiting Chatsworth House and grounds.
Pros:

Price reasonable, location, near Chatsworth House, with parking.
Breakfast self-service aspects were very efficient for us.
We liked the Bramley bathroom products.

Cons:

Grubby looking corridoor " carpets" upstairs.
Room 5 mattress looked lumpy (but comfortable enough).

Really close to Chatsworth, beautiful countryside and great place to stay.
Pros:

Had breakfast there, and an evening meal. Really good service and food. Particularly liked the tipple in your room, a really nice extra touch.

Cons:

They were a bit quick to bring the bill over, we'd hardly put our cutlery down, but that's a minor thing, but we were surprised.

A great pub with rooms with outstanding staff
Pros:

The ambience was perfect, the pub area was smart but at the same time cosy.
Rooms were modern and clean, with wonderful comfy beds, we all slept like logs.
The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough to help.
The food was tasty and freshly cooked, the wine list is extensive.

Cons:

I'm being very picky here but the coffee at breakfast was poor and the water provided to make the tea wasn't hot enough.
