Very relaxing, quiet and awesome
Pros:

The location is beautiful. The staff are helpful and friendly. The restaurant have awesome food, friendly waiters and very reasonably priced. 10 out of 10 recommended.

Ladies trip
Pros:

Easy to check in, and we were helped with our bags. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. When i was there, i discovered that they also have a camp site. I am looking forward to visiting the camp site and the hotel.

Lake Pleasant The perfect holiday destination.
Pros:

Personal attention from Manageress was excellent. We would definitely be coming back.
Lake Pleasant has everything you need for a holiday. No need to go anywhere but enjoy the views the food,

Cons:

Waiters needs to keep guest informed of menu especially dinner. We drove all the way to knysna for seafood and only saw the menu when we came back Lake Pleasant had seafood.on their menu. This was very disappointing.

Nice stay, but wouldn’t stay longer than 1 night.
Pros:

Nice bed and they gifted us some wine.

Cons:

There were ants in the kettle and all over the food we brought. The bathroom window does not have a curtain and it’s right next to the toilet, so anyone can see through from the outside. Staff is a bit overly friendly. We would’ve liked to just book in and move on, but they walk with you in to the room.. felt like we only had a little privacy.

Pros:

Nostalgic. Used to visit this hotel 20 years ago. The most energetic lady manager I have come across and very accommodating. The food in the restaurant is good value for money and great staff.

Cons:

A property developer bought the hotel 15 years ago and built private duplexes Infront of the hotel rooms obstructing the view of the lake changing the character of the place.

En route easy peasy pleasant on a lake.
Pros:

Easy access off the N2.A very attractive setting on the lake.Handy restaurant on site.Warm welcome by our hosts, staff attentive and extra mile efficient.An excellent midway stop from CT to East London. I requested a double bed and we got a King-size!!Thank you.

Cons:

No real milk for the provided hospitality welcome tea in the room.Got at the bar with a smile!
