It was peaceful and clean. Staff was amazing. Restaurant was brilliant, owner / manager super friendly - food was brilliant - staff once again was amazing - no turn down service and with checking out no assistance with luggage and the lady that had to assist us with checking in had a disability and battled to walk - if she had a reception desk she would not need to walk you to your room - then a porter would be able to do so - I felt so bad that she had to walk us to our room while she was really battling to walk.

Cons:

Might be a hotel resort but it’s lacking.

1. Gym and Warm Swimming pool - bookings only and not included in the price - pay per visit.
2. No reception desk.
3. No air conditioning
4. Restaurant bill could jot be added to the room / bill.
5. Bathroom in-suite not up to standard - no table or table top to leave toiletries -
6. No comfy couch to sit on in the room
7. No table to leave bags when unpacking - had to leave it on the bed unpack and then tuck it away in the cupboard.
8. No hairdryer
9. No soaps and basic bathroom necessities as one would expect from a hotel.

It would not call this a hotel per se - more like a room rental kind of thing almost like a commune but with your own room and in-suite bathroom type of thing. More like a luxury boarding house where you have someone coming in to clean the room.

How pleasant at Lake Pleasant
Pros:

We would like to thank Wayne and particularly Linda for going the extra mile for us when we had a medical emergency..they were stars and we had a good relaxing time ..comfy room and good food and view in restaurant

Cons:

There was nothing that we didn't like and we're happy with our stay at Lake Pleasant

Very relaxing, quiet and awesome
Pros:

The location is beautiful. The staff are helpful and friendly. The restaurant have awesome food, friendly waiters and very reasonably priced. 10 out of 10 recommended.

Ladies trip
Pros:

Easy to check in, and we were helped with our bags. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. When i was there, i discovered that they also have a camp site. I am looking forward to visiting the camp site and the hotel.

Lake Pleasant The perfect holiday destination.
Pros:

Personal attention from Manageress was excellent. We would definitely be coming back.
Lake Pleasant has everything you need for a holiday. No need to go anywhere but enjoy the views the food,

Cons:

Waiters needs to keep guest informed of menu especially dinner. We drove all the way to knysna for seafood and only saw the menu when we came back Lake Pleasant had seafood.on their menu. This was very disappointing.
