The Oasis Residence

From the moment you step into the resort, you are greeted by a breathtaking view of the pools, bar area, and reception. The entire property is immaculate, beautifully designed, and instantly creates a feeling of peace, relaxation, and luxury.

We stayed in the villa with the private pool, and honestly, words cannot do it justice. It exceeded every expectation we had. We paid €167 per night, and in our opinion, this is exactly the kind of price that good quality hotels in Zanzibar should be around.

Everything was spotless and exceptionally well maintained. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the villa itself was tastefully decorated with great attention to detail. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed for those who prefer to prepare their own meals.

What impressed us most was how thoughtfully everything had been planned. Every detail seemed carefully considered, and throughout our stay there was not a single thing we felt was missing.

Another detail that truly impressed us was the private pool. It was cleaned twice a day and was always crystal clear, spotless, and inviting. The water temperature was perfect, making it enjoyable at any time of the day. It was evident that the staff took great care in maintaining it, which made our stay even more relaxing and luxurious.

The restaurant served delicious food, with excellent quality ingredients and beautiful presentation. A must-try dish is the octopus with coconut sauce — absolutely outstanding.

We also felt completely comfortable eating and drinking throughout our stay, including cocktails with ice, which is something many travelers appreciate when visiting Zanzibar.

The resort is surrounded by lush tropical gardens filled with palm and banana trees, creating a true paradise-like atmosphere. Even the gym becomes a pleasure to use when you're exercising while surrounded by such stunning scenery.

This was easily one of the most memorable and enjoyable stays we have ever had.

First of all, the fact that the property is located in Jambiani is a great advantage for tourists, as it is both a safe and well-developed area. From the very first moment we arrived at the hotel, we were welcomed with warm smiles, and we were extremely satisfied with the staff’s attentiveness and the quality of service. They were always helpful, incredibly kind, and genuinely friendly.

The design, comfort, and spacious living areas of the residence we stayed in made us realize once again that we had made the right choice. As an architect, I was particularly impressed by the hotel’s common areas, landscape design, and the circulation relationship between the buildings and their surroundings. The architectural approach of the property was truly impressive in terms of both aesthetics and functionality. The architect behind this project has done an outstanding job.

I would also like to express special thanks to the hotel manager, Mara. She was an incredibly sweet, caring, and elegant person. She took wonderful care of us throughout our stay. We would also like to sincerely thank the team for the surprise birthday celebration and room decorations prepared for my cousin, which made us very happy. It was a truly thoughtful gesture.

We greatly enjoyed our time here and truly grew fond of everyone. We hope to see you again soon.

Everything about our stay exceeded expectations. The apartment was finished to an exceptionally high standard, with fantastic facilities and superb internet. Having a dedicated office space was invaluable as I work remotely, and the swimming pools plus the wide breakfast selection made the experience even better. I would recommend The Oasis Residence without hesitation, especially for families.

The staff were outstanding, consistently going the extra mile and truly enhancing our stay. A special mention goes to Joseph, who drove my wife and daughter with exceptional care while I was working. He is an incredibly safe and reliable driver, and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing transport in the evenings, when taxis or tuk‑tuks can be difficult to find.

We stayed one month at The Oasis and loved everything about our stay! The villa itself was new, clean and comfortable. I needed to continue working during the days and the facilities there fitted my needs perfectly so I could work without any interruptions. The location of the property was quiet, but connected enough to still visit the beach and the surrounds easily. The food was very good and fresh. The menu was very nice and the chefs and barmen were skilled and accommodating - breakfast was really great, the lobster was perfect, G&T hit the spot. The most outstanding aspect of our stay was the staff. Friendly, professional and lot of fun (we loved the birthday dances they gave the guests including myself). Thank you to the whole team including Kunal, Kidawa, Hawa, Joshua, Jacqueline, Avith, Dorris, Revellian, Swabri, Mara, Security, the whole maintenance, housekeeping team and Isabella the cat!

Really beautiful landscape around the villas which were huge. Food was amazing, pools glorious and everything had a tropical touch! I also loved the gym!
