Amazing location, very central easy to walk around and come back to the room to chill or shower. Cute monkeys, lovely staff.
The bed was the most uncomfortable bed of our entire trip, woke up sore every morning as it was so hard, other than this was a good stay.
This property is absolutely beautiful, both the rooms and the common areas. There's a fully equipped kitchen, that's clean and has coffee, tea, big fridges, etc., so it would be a great place to stay even longer term. Everything is so aesthetic and clean, the staff is very helpful and kind - they helped me rent a scooter, and the owner also owns a very well-known (and highly recommended) restaurant called Malu. The location is perfect, you can walk everywhere, but it's also not loud at night. The room and bathroom were very comfortable and had everything I could need.
The only thing I'd say is that the room I was staying in was right by the outdoor/garden seating area, where some guests liked to socialise. I'd say it would be a great room for someone looking to meet other people easily, but if you prefer more quiet/private space, you might want to request a room upstairs :)

Great location - short walk to the beach and loads of nearby restaurants. The decor of the rooms and hotel was very well done. The complimentary water, tea and coffee was a lovely bonus. There was also a nice communal garden area to relax. Air con worked very well to keep the room comfortable. The staff were always very accommodating whenever we needed anything. Overall I would say great value for money.
It's outside of the owners control but if you are a light sleeper this may not be the place for you. On our first night the road noise was very loud which did interrupt our sleep - the owners kindly moved us to another room. On other nights we were often woken up by monkeys jumping on the tin roof.
I had mixed feelings about my stay here.
The location is excellent—just a 2-minute walk to the beach and very close to shops and restaurants, which made getting around super convenient. When I first entered the property, it honestly felt like a “wow” experience.
However, things started going downhill after that. The bathroom had a strong unpleasant smell, and there was a water leakage throughout the night, which made it very uncomfortable and disturbed our sleep.
The service was also disappointing. The receptionist was often engaged on her phone and didn’t seem attentive. While I understand it was my responsibility to track checkout time, a simple reminder would have helped. We ended up returning about an hour late (around 12:30 PM) after getting caught up outside, and were charged for an entire extra day.
What was more disappointing than the charge itself was the lack of courtesy and empathy. When we tried to request some consideration, the interaction felt rude and unprofessional, with no real effort to handle the situation in a customer-friendly way.

Not my first stay in this gorgeous little boutique hotel. Clean rooms, very friendly service and great location. Will definitely return again!
Zentral gelegen, sehr ruhig und sauber. Direkt in einer "Hauptstrasse" wo es viele Restaurants, Coffee-Shops und kleine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt. Nur wenige Meter vom Strand entfernt
Badezimmer sehr klein und leider war die Dusche nicht abgetrennt (direkt neben dem WC, ohne Vorgang/Wand), daher war der gesamte Badezimmerboden mehrheitlich nass und konnte aufgrund dem nur sehr kleinen Fenster kaum trocknen

Our top-floor room was beautifully designed and offered perfect morning views of playful monkeys in the surrounding trees—a delightful and memorable experience. The location is exceptional, with many excellent restaurants in the immediate vicinity, all easily reachable on foot. This made exploring local dining options both convenient and enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed the serene atmosphere and natural surroundings.
