The Pavilion Bisley

It was incredibly hot during our stay and the rooms do not have air conditioning. We stayed in Room 5 (family room) which was dated. The bottom of the divan beds were stained and the whole room needed re-doing. My parents stayed in room 8 which was a much nicer room. We were given 1 very loud fan, which meant that we could not watch the television whilst the fan was on due to lack of plugs! We had to prop the door open overnight to get some draft in! The bathroom was also very dated with a trickle of a shower. We were expecting a little more for the price we paid.

Wasn't told when the room was confirmed that only a bath without shower attachment was in the room (9) and if I wanted a shower I'd have to walk down the corridor. Was told I could leave my luggage before check-in but there was no-one on Reception 12.30-13.30 so arriving at 12.35 I couldn't. Lot of light spill from corridor (auto lights when people moving about and big gap at bottom of door). Noisy other guests directly opposite (had their bedroom door open, although they did close it when asked).

Lack of air conditioning resulted in us sleeping with the windows and door open with fan extracting cold air. It would have been unbearable otherwise.
No shower in Room 8.

- no AC in the room but a fan provided and adequate ventilation by opening windows.

Tiny rooms and very costly against other local hotels

Very basic accomodation. The blinds let the light in early in the morning and the staff turning up at 0600-0630 were overly noisy considering they should know they have guests staying.

The room was very small even though I'd paid for an upgrade and on arrival was told the manager again had upgraded us .

The room was clean however there was no mirror in the main room.
Was given a fan but all it did was blow hot air into a very small space. The window opener was broken and had sharp edges,very stiff to open.

There was a very small tv on the wall and the bed was so close to the slatted roof ,so we were unable to walk around the bed.

I paid £118.00 for 1 nights stay.
On arrival we weren't greeted in a nice manner but rather rude .

We found that the night time staff was very helpful .

We had to sort our water etc in the main reception as there was nothing in the room to accommodate a hot day/night.

The shower and toilet area was also in our room ,pod like thing. Very small. Only 1 person at a time to enter.

No air-conditioning did not help either as my partner is menopausal and is pron to hot sweats .

This really seemed as though it was a room for a single man ,not a couple .

Would we stay again.

We have stayed in another building on the site before for a lot less money and had so much more space and more helpful staff

But it is the UK so it doesn't need it all the time.

Shower was a tad on the small size. My husband struggled.
Needed a mirror in the room, not just the bathroom, as it made getting ready for our event a bit difficult.

Could maybe have done with a mirror on the dressing table
