A relaxing stay and good value for anyone on a budget.
Pros:

Very friendly staff. The lodge is undergoing refurbishment but the quality of the room more than made up for the more basic common areas. Ample car parking and secure location. I will be staying again.

Cons:

There were no notices about wi-fi. Whether it was on or unavailable. It would not hurt to have a few rooms with a gun safe in them but on the whole a positive experience.

Not up to expectations
Pros:

Daytime reception staff friendly and really good location

Cons:

I appreciate that The Pavilion is an old building but.... the room was very small, extremely hot - even with 2 fans on constantly. Unable to stand upright one side of the bed because of sloping roof.
No shower - only a bath which was not able to be used safely due to the slope of the roof
Shower room along the corridor was a let down - like a sauna as soon as you closed the door, couldn't get the shower to run cool, and shower head would not stay in position

perfectly comfortable overnight stay
Pros:

This was a quirky place to stay, but suited me perfectly, i was only there overnight, so didn't really get to see much of the surrounding area. The room was perfectly clean, with all the facilities you could want.

Cons:

the bed was quite soft, which didn't suit me, but that's a personal thing. The TV had a lot of different channels, but i couldn't find regular TV! (BBC1 BBC2 etc) so it might be worth providing some instructions for it. I ended up watching a film, as i couldn't find what i was looking for,

No Customer Service sadly
Pros:

Nothing didn't end up staying this time. We had stayed before and enjoyed it, sadly we didn't have to use the staff before but this time we encountered issues which they failed to resolve sadly.

Stayed here a few times now due to shooting competitions. Lovely place in the perfect location, very friendly staff. Very clean rooms, definitely booking again very soon!
