Incredibly bad hotel

The only nice thing about this place is the swimming pool with ocean view

Cons:

Upon arrival we were told that the room we booked, a suite with jacuzzi, was already booked by others (although it appeared available online). We got downgraded to a room with no window, very warm as it was under the roof and with NO electricity! Not possible to charge the phone and turn on AC or light. We had to pay a regular price for a room we did not want and that was even worse than how it was advertised. Then, when we paid the bill (which we were asked to pay at the beginning of the stay instead of at the end) they charged by mistake one thousand euros on our credit cars! Luckily we realised it just 20 min later. But it took the whole afternoon for them to call a technician who could revert the transaction on their device and we had to wait there with our credit card ready for many attempts to get the money back. We lost half a day of our holidays time. The person at the reception was not helpful at all, did not propose any compensation for the time we lost, the stress and the awful room. After paying for an horrible service all we got was a glass of juice for free. Absolutely the worse service we ever received.

La piscina tenía el agua demasiado turbia, no se si funcionaba la depuradora. Pedimos habitaciones con vistas y la de esquina que nos dieron no tiene buenas vistas.

wow, what an amazing stay, friendly staff very welcoming, amazing views, Fantastic chef the food is unlike anything I've ever tried before absolutely phenomenal. First time staying here and I will definitely be coming back again, if you haven't been you have to try the mashed potatoes with steak 10/10 seasoned to perfection and the lobster rice is spectacular both are must tries, The rooms are super clean with good toiletries amazing / perfect view of the beach. I can't get over how friendly the staff were kind and happy to help with anything. What an experience 10/10

mooi uitzicht , lief en behulpzaam personeel. heerlijk ontbijt maar zeer slecht bereikbaar Hotel

de behulpzaamheid van het personeel en de eigenaar(op afstand)

BOOKING VALT M IJ ONTZETTEND TEGEN. meerder keren contact gezocht met booking, i.v.m. gecancelde vluchten. maar ondanks diverse pogingen NO respons van BOOKING, dus hebben we maar alle nachten betaald ( 5 i.p.v. 3) en hebben we extra nachten moeten betalen in Mindeloo ( Sao Vicente) op een ander eiland.
De weg van de ferry naar het hotel op Sao Nicolau was dramatisch. zeer slechte weg en naar het dorp moeizaam om te lopen.

Greit hotell, men for høyt priset.
Pros:

Hotellet hadde en hyggelig foaje og fin terrasse og serverte god mat.

Cons:

Hotellet lå litt for langt fra byen Sao Felipe og dessverre fungerte ikke internett på rommet.

Badewanne mit Top Aussicht wie auf dem Bild beschrieben hatte leider nur lauwarmes Wasser u.keinen Wasserdruck! Wir versuchten ein Lunchpaket zu bestellen da wir sehr frühzeitig zum Flughafen mussten u.das Frühstücksbuffet leider nicht in Anspruch nehmen konnten.War aber nichts vorbereitet. Auf der Terrasse der Suite wären Liegen sehr komfortabel!

La piscine infinity et la vue fabuleuse sur la plage.
La chambre était confortable (lit) et balcon apprecié

Globalement séjour en demi teinte avec du très bon et du très mauvais pour un hotel censé être 4 étoiles booking.
Pour commencer, la chambre (chambre Sal) est correcte mais salle de bain n’est pas au niveau : mini baignoire sans rideau de douche donc de l’eau partout au sol en permanence, obligé de se doucher assis pour limiter les dégats.
Grande difficulté à régler la temperature de la douche sans que soit brûlant ou glacé.
La piscine est top mais, à l’image du reste, elle mériterait un coup de neuf (liner gondolé par endroit et contour un peu vétuste mais ça reste très OK).
Maintenant attaquons-nous au plus gros inconvénient : le personnel.
Bien qu'ils sont tous de bonne volonté, il est difficile de savoir si nos demandes ont été bien comprises, prises en compte/notées. De plus il est compliqué de communiquer/trouver le personnel qui est régulièrement absent de la réception et du bar de la piscine.
Exemple : lors du check in paiement en cash éffectué mais ils n’avaient pas de change pour nous rembourser. Nous avons payé un petit extra qui devait etre régularisé sur des consommations futures (boissons à la piscine). Cependant lors du check out, le personnel n’étant pas le même, l’information n’avait pas était transmise ni notée quelques part nous avons donc du négocier au télephone pour avoir gain de cause.
Exemple 2 : A 19h30 nous sommes descendus à la réception pour demander un taxi pour le lendemain matin 7h. Personne à la reception, le responsable semblait débordé malgré le peu de clients au restaurant et nous a demandé de revenir dans 1h. En revenant un peu tardivement, il n'y avait plus personne à la réception, heureusement nous avons croisé le personnel sur le chemin proche de l’hotel qui nous a confirmé avoir bien appelé le taxi. Mais compliqué de savoir avec certitude si notre taxi allait etre présent le lendemain.

L'insistenza di parte dello staff è risultata fastidiosa.
La suite necessita di una sistemazione (faretti che non funzionanavano, soffione della doccia rotto e presenza di insetti nei lavandini) mancanze non ammissibili per un hotel a 4 stelle.

Rustige accomodatie met mooi terras en uitzicht op zee.

Kamers netjes en schoon. Terras waar we onze gewassen kleding fijn konden drogen Klein maar prima zwembad met prachtig uitzicht op zee en het eiland Brava. Lekker gegeten 's avonds. Heel rustig en buiten Sao Filipe, wij vonden dat fijn, misschien voor langer verblijf niet.

Cons:

Vooral dat degene bij receptie geen 1 andere taal sprak dan zijn eigen. Hij begreep niets. Wij moesten vroeg weer naar het vliegveld,, normake verttektijd daar, feitelijk obtbijyen onmogelijk, zou half uur eerder moeten kunnen. Bovendien wel musli, geen yogurt, geen vers fruit.

Un endroit à couper le souffle !
Pros:

Un hôtel absolument incontournable ! Peu de chambres donc TRES tranquille, très belles chambres, accueil et service formidables, restaurant très correct... Et puis que dire de la vue ! Piscine débordante avec vue sur l'océan et sur l'Ilha Brava, avec un couché de soleil à couper le souffle ! What else?
Pour moi, j'ai approché le paradis !!!
