Despite Booking.com showing the property to be far away from river, Google search located it next to river, ideal for Kerala backwaters cruises
Poor WiFi reception
Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Decent view with trees and a part of the lake - the full lake facing rooms were nearly double the price, I stayed In their normal room from where you can see the lake from a corner of the balcony.
Decent breakfast (included in the charge) - I ordered Alacarte but when the hotel is full they have a buffet which would probably be better.
Hotel arranged for the backwater boat ride which was convenient. Prices for the same have been standardized by the poovar boating union and posted everywhere
Right on the main road so a bit busy and noisy.
The property is basically a building with access to the lake behind. They have put up a sit out area there but it didn't feel like part of the hotel and I don't think you get kitchen service there. Not a resort.
Dinner I ordered was okay (too spicy and didn't feel that fresh)
At 2500 a night felt a bit expensive
The location is good, They have a botting point just the backside of the hotel. The botting was great, it's a different experience. The food was excellent and the service was good. Thank you Mr Vinil and team for the great hospitality.
Peaceful stay
As we had planned to go out early there was no breakfast. This was an inconvenience. We had requested this while we were booking.
The staff wasn’t helpful
The door couldn’t open with key everytime
The shower was not proper

Water in the bathroom very bad.
Location was close to my meeting venue. Had few other local restaurants, medical shops and super market nearby.
Shabby sheets, stained pillow covers and blankets.. rooms had a congested and musty odour. I informed to front desk, they kept blaming the laundry team and gave me another room.. which was still almost the same condition as the first one.. no wifi connectivity in first floor where I stayed.. kettle and tv remote damaged pieces..
2800 rp for a night at this place was not worth it.. hopefully they will make the needed changes.. booking app pics were misleading.. pls look into it also
Bath towels were very stained ones.
The rooms are really good and we got in a offer price.. The food is also good.. Mainly their Candle light dinner arrangement is exceptional.. Its worth for the money.. The boat safari is also really great...The offer they gave for boat ride for the guests in hotel is great..Room service is good.. Parking facilities also available..
More leisure activities would be great.. Rest all good.. Can see they are expanding to accommodate more activities..
Food is bad. No options. Menu is big but if we ask the particular item from menu not there. For lunch in thali daily same vegetables and items

The Property is just next to Backwaters which makes it convenient to take the boat ride if you are keen on it. There is onsite parking which is convenient.
The WORST hotel experience to say the least. Nothing about this property is good. The Rooms are stinky with Dampness, got cockroaches and beetles and mosquitoes everywhere. The bed linen were dirty, soiled, stained and felt like used. They argued about it when we complain to change it. Kept insisting that all linens are fresh whereas we showed them stains, hairs and dirt on it.
We travelled with family and it was a nightmare to stay there. no service, whatsoever. They were just interested in selling boating package. The breakfast was minimal to say the least. Nothing was organized, felt like a home run kitchen with dirty utensils, bare minimum food, everything was provided only if you ask 3-4 times even Tea/Coffee. We had to wait for more than 40 minutes just to get toasted bread and Tea.
The WiFi was barely working, that too they did not share the Wifi access easily. better to use your Mobile Data.
The STAFF was MOST REULCTANT to help. For everything they simply said, it was just changed or we will get it soon or we are short on staff...!!! NO sense of hospitality whatsoever.
Bottom LINE... I will not stay there even if I AM PAID by the HOTEL Ever. Forget about paying them for a horrible experience.
